In short, YES! Low Emissivity (or Low E) window films, such as Solar Gard Saint-Gobain Ecolux™ Low-E, acts as a heat guard, reflecting and dispersing heat to keep your home warm in winter and serving as an extra insulator. The Low E properties prevent the absorption of heat on glass surfaces, keeping hot air out during the summer months and stopping warm air from escaping throughout the winter. That's why installing energy-efficient window film is a smart move to keep your home cozy and your energy bills low. 𝑩𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒇𝒊𝒕𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑾𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒐𝒘 𝑭𝒊𝒍𝒎 𝒊𝒏 𝑾𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓: • 𝐑𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐋𝐨𝐬𝐬: Window film creates an insulating barrier, minimizing heat transfer through your windows. • 𝐋𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬: By keeping your home warmer, you'll rely less on your heating system, saving you money on energy bills. • 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭: Enjoy a more comfortable and evenly heated home throughout the winter months as well as reduced glare when UV rays reflect upward off of the bright snow. • 𝐔𝐕 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Protect your furniture and flooring from fading caused by harmful UV rays. Insulation is pivotal for boosting energy efficiency and home value. But knowing the distinctions between options like spray foam and fiberglass is crucial for informed decisions. Both spray foam and fiberglass excel at enhancing energy efficiency and property worth. However, each offers unique advantages based on your project requirements and preferences. - Spray foam insulation, known for its expansive nature, seals air leaks effectively and provides excellent thermal resistance. It's perfect for irregular spaces, ensuring maximum energy savings and indoor comfort. - Fiberglass insulation is versatile and cost-effective, available in batts, rolls, or loose-fill forms. It offers reliable thermal insulation, sound absorption, and resistance to fire and moisture. Choosing between spray foam and fiberglass hinges on your project specifics, budget, and preferences. Whether you prioritize superior sealing with spray foam or versatility with fiberglass, both options can elevate your home's energy efficiency and value. Understanding these differences empowers you to make the right choice for a more comfortable, energy-efficient home! 🏡💡 #Insulation #EnergyEfficiency #HomeValue #SmartChoices

As winter lingers, consider the importance of door insulation in your home. 🏠❄️ Beyond windows and roofs, doors are key to energy efficiency and comfort. A well-insulated door helps maintain a warm living space and can reduce your energy bill. Drafty doors can make a cozy room feel cold. Addressing this issue can result in immediate warmth. 🚪✨ Choosing the right insulation materials, such as foam, fiberglass, or vinyl, and installing them properly, is essential to keep the heat in and the cold out. It's important to install insulation correctly, taking into account factors like weather-induced expansions. Otherwise, you might not get the desired results. The benefits of proper door insulation include lower energy costs, a consistent indoor climate, and a reduced carbon footprint. 🌍💚 Regular maintenance can also extend the life of your insulation, ensuring it continues to prevent energy loss. Ask yourself: Is my home losing warmth through an uninsulated door? Have you checked your door's insulation lately? 🤔 Share your experiences with door insulation and discuss how we can improve our homes' energy efficiency. #EnergyEfficiency #HomeImprovement #Sustainability #Insulation #DIY

All our products come with Low E coating. What does it mean? Low E means ‘Low Emissivity’ – emissivity is defined as the amount of solar radiation emitted or absorbed from a surface. The main difference between a Low E glass and an ordinary glass is that Low E glass has a very thin coating applied to one side of the glass. This enables a reduction in the transmission of heat or cold through the glass. Think of it as an invisible insulation barrier for your windows. Just as wall and ceiling insulation provides protection to those areas, Low E glass does the same for glass. Coated glass helps provide a more comfortable temperature in a room, more window area can be used as an added bonus, and heating and cooling costs are reduced. Combining better insulated products into our homes makes sense and contributes to reducing greenhouse emissions. #mlwindows #doubleglazedwindows #tripleglazedwindows #highqualitywindows #highperformancewindows #passivehouse #passivhaus #passivhauswindows #comfortableandhealthyhomes #thermallyefficienthomes #highqualityhomes #highperformancehomes #energyefficient #homeinsulation #modernhome #homedecor #renovationideas #thermallybrokenwindows #tiltandturnwindows #awningwindows #casementwindows #frenchdoors #slidingdoors #liftslidedoors #timberalucladwindows #timberalucladdoors #lowecoating

In a recent project for a condominium lobby, we addressed a significant issue: excessive heat and UV exposure from a large skylight had made the otherwise beautiful, spacious lobby nearly unusable. Tenants found the area uncomfortable, and the intense sunlight was impacting the overall experience. We applied 3M window films to significantly reduce the heat and block harmful UV rays without compromising natural light. The result is a cooler, more comfortable lobby that tenants are thrilled with. For those looking for a cost-effective way to upgrade their property, reduce energy consumption, and enhance tenant satisfaction, our window solutions offer a powerful solution. Whether it’s heat control, UV protection, or energy efficiency, we have the expertise to transform your space and deliver lasting results. #windowfilmcanada #3MWindowFilm #UVProtection #EnergyEfficiency #TenantComfort #SmartSolutions #PropertyImprovement
