This is it! My big break! I've finally made it to the big leagues... Happy to announce to my network, friends, and clients, that I will in fact be attending Natural Products Expo West, in just two short weeks on behalf of SPINS! Being in the industry for just shy of two years now, I've heard so many things about this show. 70,000 people. The 2nd largest American tradeshow behind Consumer Electronics World Expo. Floor so big it's impossible to cover it all. And I get to enjoy that California sunshine for 5 or 6 days. I have detailed below just some of the recent insights our in house R&I team came across when researching the effects that an experiential event can create for a brand. If you would like to know more about what we can do to get your brand in front of your target audience feel free to get in touch. Online Engagement: Pop-up stores can drive online engagement as well. A study by Pop-Up Republic found that around 61% of shoppers who visited a pop-up store shared their experience on social media, leading to increased online brand. Brand Awareness: Many brands use pop-up stores primarily for brand awareness. A survey by PopUp Republic found that 58% of consumers visited a pop-up store because they were curious about the brand. Sales Boost: Pop-up stores can significantly boost sales. A report by Storefront, a pop-up marketplace, indicated that some brands experienced sales increases of 20-30% during their pop-up store operations. Social Media Impact: Eventbrite's report also noted that 98% of consumers create content at events and activations, with 100% of those attendees sharing that content on social media. This highlights the potential for experiential marketing to generate user-generated content and social media buzz. Customer Engagement: Interactive experiences and events in pop-up stores can lead to higher customer engagement and satisfaction. The Shopify Plus blog reported that 61% of consumers believe that pop-up stores offer a more personalised and unique shopping experience. Emotional Connection: According to a study by the Event Marketing Institute, 74% of consumers reported having a more positive opinion about a brand after attending an experiential marketing event. Brand Loyalty: A study by Freeman and Chief Marketer found that 59% of consumers who attend brand activations are more likely to make a purchase with that brand in the future. #marketing #experiential #events
