Today, we had the opportunity to engage with the junior batch of the Institute of Computer Engineering Technology (iCET) as part of the Industry Mind Program. This initiative focuses on preparing students for real-world challenges by involving them in team-based projects that enhance their technical skills and collaborative abilities. 🌱 Our role today was to monitor and guide them as they navigated through their project tasks. It was truly inspiring to see their creativity and problem-solving skills in action! 🚀 Here are some moments captured during the event We wish the juniors continued success in their projects may they keep learning, innovating, and excelling in their journey ahead. Nothing ever changes. A group of geeks made a computer challenge back in 1985. They offered a program that will receive another short program from a blinking dot on a TV screen using simple hardware they have provided schematics. Sounds intriguing? Well it does, but took me a 20 second glance on a schematics to see that software engineers and digital logic hardware buffs can't really do analog electronic. The whole circuit was messed up form primitive analog frontend to phototransistor to messed up timing adjustment of monostable timing circuit used in a signal digitalization. If you are interested in mixed signal electronics and processing analog signals into digital here is a video that debugs 1985 era blunders using 2024 era equipment and recreates the experiment successfully. https://lnkd.in/eAqRd65f If you are a HAM you will laugh. If you are an analog electronics engineer you will cry.
