Hey Jay reposted this
My LinkedIn commenting strategy is No. 1 in the world. I was even on a call with LinkedIn reps about it. Short story: In early 2022, the platform noticed how I "crept into" everyone's posts and grew my following, as well as my presence in the main feed. Fun times! But... Commenting still gets "mixed reactions". What most people think: 1. I don't know what/who to comment on 2. I don't have time to comment all day here 3. Commenting is a $0/hr activity - actual quote What you should be thinking is: 1. I need to write each comment "with intent" 2. It's much easier to write 1 comment vs. 1 post 3. This actually gives me more visibility vs. posting Bonus: Hiring managers and ICPs can "notice" you. The goal is always to get more profile views = more opportunities that "posting only" can't give you. Comment with intent → Time well spent (Repost my video for your network if you like it ♻️) P.S. Do you track how many comments you leave? I left 600+ in the last 2 days without realizing... Whoops.
How do you leave 600 comments in two days?
600 comments! wow. I can't imagine. I do love commenting but limit my time on LinkedIn to maintain my sanity. (By the way, thrilled with your repost time. I now post later in the morning and can sleep in. Why own your own business if you can't sleep when you want, right?)
Jasmin Alić could you tell me the ai video editor you used for this video?
"Commenting is a $0/hr activity" - Got featured about in 5 creators' posts due to my comments - Literally got hired when I had no experience by an agency through comments P.S Peeps try it out for yourself!
I won't even bother to comment on someone's post until I follow Jasmin Alić. He helped me with a clear vision. Now, commenting is more effective to engage in a topic. Why? - you can show off with your skills - don't need to write 100 of words - helps to make direct interaction - easy to find out active people - get visibility in no time Want to see how I engage? Check out my profile & let’s connect! 😊 A lovely picture of my cat just to grab attention 🤭
"write each comment 'with intent'" Exactly this, Jasmin. Not: "write each comment to tick a box of 'X volume of comments done today'"
I know we’re on LinkedIn but this strategy goes beyond just this app. If you don’t have traffic on your page, you have to go where it exists and “steal” some 😅. Works like magic, tested & trusted.
Crafting comments thoughtfully, as you highlighted, is essential Jasmin Alić
Jasmin made his own linkedin reel editing 😊 😂

2wDedicating time every day to commenting is the same as taking time to 'walk around' a live event and visit with other vendors. A bag of swag and goodies doesn't hurt either. I always try to remember that this virtual 24/7/365 event [LinkedIn] should be treated as the best opportunity to grow a global community Jasmin Alić
