Branding is not just about a logo. This is just the tip of the iceberg. "Branding" is about the personality of your business. It's how you strategize to be perceived by others, encompassing your values, promises, and how you position yourself in the market. It's the overall impression you aim to create. "Brand identity" is the collection of visual elements, like colors, logos, and messaging, that showcase your brand's style and voice. It's the tangible way people recognize your brand. The "brand" itself is what your customers actually think and feel about you. It's their expectations, decisions, and emotional experiences with what you've put out there. This perception is the real definition of your brand. In a world full of misinformation, understanding these basics is key. It's easy to get misled by oversimplifications or scams. But knowing the difference helps in building a strong, authentic brand that resonates with people. Branding is an essential puzzle piece of business strategy, not just a surface-level design choice. Every decision counts in how your brand is perceived. #Branding #BrandIdentity #Brand #Brango #Digital#Marketing #Ontario #londonont

Branding and brand - often confused as interchangeable terms, but they have distinct differences! Branding encompasses the tangible elements: the logo, color palette, and visual design components. These assets shape the outward appearance and aesthetic of your business. However, your brand is the comprehensive, intangible experience and personality you convey to the world. It's the sentiment you evoke through your messaging, values, tone, and actions as an organization. The key question is: Does your branding accurately reflect and reinforce the brand persona you aim to cultivate? Is the energy you project resonating with your target audience in a compelling way? If you're seeking to better align your branding with your brand identity, consider undergoing a digital marketing audit. This analysis can provide valuable insights and recommendations to ensure a cohesive and impactful brand presence. New customers feel confident choosing your brand. Reasons? Not everyone will notice your logo alone. Not everyone will remember your brand from just one look. Not everyone understands your brand just by seeing the logo. A full brand creates a strong memory. But... Make sure not to rely only on your logo. Make sure to share your brand’s story in different fun ways. Take your best brand ideas → keep making them better. Pro tip: Keep adding to your brand as it grows! Always remember: “A logo is just the start, but a full brand is unforgettable.” Show your brand’s personality → Repeat it everywhere → Be remembered forever. Good luck, brand creators! 🧡 Branding is About EMOTION 🧡 When I think of the most successful brands, it's not just their products or services that stand out—it's the feelings they evoke. That's why, when I design brand identities, I describe my designs as if they were a person. You can often hear me on a call asking questions like, "Do these colours look too angry? If this logo were a person, does it look too sharp? Would the curves of these letters look more approachable if we softened them?" I do this because: 💡 It makes it easier for my clients to understand. 💡 It helps them make decisions more quickly. 💡 It helps them see their brand identity as a person, rather than just a design Anyone can sell nice services and products, but people stay loyal to a brand and come back for more because of the emotional and human connection. Your LOGO is not your BRAND. Your colour palate is not your brand, so what is a brand? Whenever we think about branding, the logo is the first thing that comes to our mind. Having a perfect logo with a colour palette and a catchy tagline is what makes a brand. But that's not true. These things are essential for a consistent brand, but they can't make your audience stay loyal to you, which is the whole purpose of branding. The branding is so much more than visuals. You can have the best logo, tagline, and colour palette, but you still need to improve your branding. It's about - How does your audience feel about your brand - how they perceive your brand and product - The experience your clients have every time they interact with your business. A strong brand develops over time. It takes time and effort, but the rewards are well worth it. P.S. What does branding mean to you?? #branding #brandidentity #theconversionberg

When you think about branding, ¿What's the first thing that comes to mind? Your first thought is probably about the brand's logo and colors, and let me tell you, you are partially correct, but in reality, branding is so much more. Branding is about how people visually and emotionally perceive your business, how they feel, and what comes to mind when interacting with it. Think of it like this: Branding > Brand Strategy > Visual Identity > Logo Your brand logo and colors are part of your brand's visual identity, which supports your brand strategy and defines how you want to be perceived. If you want to know more, DM me! I can tell you more about branding, and you can tell me more about what you do—no selling; it's a promise. 🤜 🤛 #branding #visualidentity #brand #branddesign #brandstrategy

No, I Won't Do "Just a Logo" For You (And Here's Why) A well-designed logo might look great, but without a solid brand strategy, it's just a symbol without substance. For new businesses especially, focusing solely on a logo can be a missed opportunity. Here's why: 🏹 Strategy is the compass. A strong brand strategy sets the course for your brand identity. It defines your target audience, values, and messaging. A logo inspired by this strategy will resonate more deeply. 👁️🗨️ Cohesive trumps isolated. Think of your brand as a symphony, not a solo act. A well-defined colour palette and fonts working together are often more impactful for brand recognition at the outset. Ready to build your brand from the ground up? Let's chat about crafting a strategy that fuels long-term success, not just a pretty picture. ☝ #branding #brandstrategy #brandingtips #logodesign

Thoughts for the day on #branding Sometimes, you just need to know where to start. Consider the branding topic in following way: The simplest way to think of branding is to see it in two parts. First, and typically most familiar to everyone, is the Identity elements. They are things like logos, images, fonts, colors, sounds, jingles, and even the mascot-like representations like the Geico Gecko, or Liberty Mutual's LiMu Emu. Next is what's called #positioning. It's how you are 'positioned' in your market to be a Different and Better option, versus your competition. Many companies work hard at Identity without ever realizing Brand Positioning should come first, and is often more important. The rule would be, develop the ideas around how you are 'different and better' first and then develop identity elements BASED on those concepts. The only problem is, it's harder work and takes longer to do it this way. However, it's the correct and superior way to develop a robust and effective brand strategy if you're interested in dominating your marketplace. #sentinelsolutions
