Looking for your next sales role? Want to work with me? #CoStar has an open sales role in the #Columbus market. This has been the most challenging and rewarding sales role of my entire career. Why? 🌎 I have access to people I never, ever would have previously. Every single day I have the privilege to sit across the table with people who have achieved unimaginable wealth in real estate and are literally building the city skyline. 🏆 I’m working for THE market leader. We have an innovative product, and every day I bring valuable data to my clients. If I’m calling you, you already know who we are. 💸Financially, I have achieved things I’ve never thought possible. I am earning more than I ever have in my 7+ year sales career and use it to enhance my life and achieve my personal goals. 💪🏻 I have autonomy in my role and used it to excel by building a social brand and name for myself as the “CoStar Guy” in the Columbus market. You might be a good fit if you: ✅ Excel at context switching. You can train a client at his kitchen table and then demo a Fortune 500 company 4 hours later. ✅ Are data driven. You’re comfortable with KPIs and metrics to stay on track. ✅ Are highly active. You’re ok with making the calls, the visits, and the networking events to be everywhere your clients and prospects are. ✅ Aren’t afraid of change. Sometimes the aircraft carrier DOES turn on a dime, and you need to turn with it. ✅ Are client-centric. Because relationships are everything. ✅ Have 3-5 years (give or take) of successful B2B and/or software sales experience. Message me directly to learn more about the role!

Business Development Managers have several main roles- To develop new leads and prospects for sales teams. To identify new market opportunities. To nurture key client relationships for revenue maximization. To be the point of contact between senior executives and sales and marketing reps. To be fully knowledgeable about products and services. To forecast sales revenues and improve them. Although not all BDM job descriptions will range as widely as the above list might imply, it’s a challenging role which can involve creativity, problem solving and interpersonal skills. The role of a BDM needs to be clearly defined from the outset and then a sales strategy should be created around it.
