Practising ESG or committing to sustainable development is no longer a choice for businesses but has become mandatory to attract FDI. As European businesses have been tied to the standards, Vietnam's industrial market is motivated to adapt faster to accommodate foreign investors’ requirements. While ESG has become a noticeable trend across industries in Vietnam, the real estate sector has also witnessed a tremendous shift in view towards ESG as they’re looking for constructors applying sustainable building practice. In response to such demand, up to 82,6% of the construction materials industry in Vietnam has now either implemented or planned on implementing ESG commitments, in which G (Governance) is ranked as most important to the ESG strategy. As a leading developer in asserting ESG into its business, Frasers Property Vietnam has recognised the importance of complying with international standards to boost sustainability in its developments, which also offers business a pathway to attaining their ESG commitment while operating in Vietnam. #builtindustry #ESG #sustainability #development #FDI
