It takes place tomorrow (13/06) from 9-12 at the Conference Venue (Saint Jean d'Angely campus of EUR Economie et Management - ELMI Université Côte d'Azur). Who are the speakers? We opted for a mix of experience and early-career researchers, in both cases working on excellent projects: Hyunjin Kim, Milan Miric Iris Poon Ekaterina Prytkova The aim of the PDW is to gather scholars interested in sharing questions, ideas, and insights about the impact of AI on #organizational and #strategic challenges. “Researching the AI imperative” is a unique opportunity to develop and test theories that link #industrial #dynamics, #ecosystems #evolution, and #firms’ strategy and initiate a discussion about relevant empirical analyses, materials, and data. The PDW is organized in two parts. FIRST, speakers will present four ongoing research projects; the goal of this part is to showcase work on the frontier of strategy and economics of AI. How big is your national AI olympiad? 😎 The biggest national AI olympiad is the Brazilian with 700,000+ registered participants in its 1st round. 👏 Structured into four stages, the Olympiad emphasizes social impact and digital literacy, ultimately selecting four exceptional participants to represent Brazil at the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI). This initiative is led by three prominent institutions: 1️⃣ EduSpace: An EdTech company managing the competition’s operations and providing the digital platform that powers the Olympiad. 2️⃣ IIA: The Brazilian AI Institute, dedicated to addressing the needs of researchers and the AI scientific community, organizing events and training sessions, and facilitating Brazil’s engagement in international initiatives. 3️⃣ H2IA: The Technology and Innovation Hub at the Federal University of Pelotas, which serves as the Olympiad’s scientific committee.

The 2nd ETELT workshop at the MIS4TEL2024 conference in Salamanca, Spain concluded today with great success. With 14 insightful papers presented and 40 participants joining us both in person and online, it was a day filled with rich, intensive knowledge building and collaborative sharing. Scholars from three EU projects, among others, contributed to this dynamic exchange of ideas. This vibrant interaction has broadened our perspectives and ignited innovative ideas for research and innovation.
