Two things define you: Your patience when you have nothing and your attitude when you have everything.- Imam Ali As I continue my journey in early childhood education, this quote resonates deeply with me. It's a reminder of the values I strive to uphold both personally and professionally. Patience and a positive attitude are crucial not only in challenging times but also when we achieve success. Excited to bring these principles into my work and to inspire the young learners I have the privilege to teach. #EmbracingGrowthandGratitude #EarlyChildhoodEducation #Patience #PositiveAttitude #ProfessionalGrowth #Inspiration #Teaching

Loving this info graphic. There is no reason that a young person can't start working on "adulting" skills as a teen. It is easier to BUILD on these skills in your 20s rather than learning them for the first time as adult when the stakes are higher (and young people might no longer have the immediate support of their family available.) #adulting #lifeskills #teens #independence #skills #students #highschool
Academic subjects are undoubtedly important, but some skills cannot be taught in schools. From preparing meals to doing household chores, here are life skills every teen should learn 👇 #LifeSkillsForTeens #BeyondTheClassroom #EssentialLifeLessons

Wishing all my colleagues, peers, and mentors, a happy Teacher’s day! Feeling incredibly grateful as I reflect on 10 years in the teaching profession. 🎓📚The true essence of teaching isn’t just about the subjects we cover—it's about inspiring young minds to believe in their boundless potential, grow into their best selves, and realize they're capable of more than they know. 🌱✨What I’ve learned is this: students may not remember us for the lessons we taught, but they will remember the values we instilled and the encouragement to think critically and be better each day. 💡Yet, in today’s world, educators often walk a fine line, cautious of every word, fearing that respectful disagreement or a different perspective may be misunderstood. But classrooms should be spaces for open dialogue—where ideas are explored, challenged, and discussed with mutual respect. 🙌To the students reading this: we’re here to guide you through diverse perspectives, help you sharpen your thinking, and encourage respectful disagreement. Learn to disagree, but disagree with respect. Just as we give you the freedom to learn and grow, we ask for the same in return. 🌍Teachers are nothing without their students, and I’m proud to be part of this lifelong journey of growth. 💪❤️ #TeachersDay #Educators #TeachingJourney #LifelongLearning #CriticalThinking #RespectfulDisagreement #Inspire #Mentorship #GrowthMindset #StudentsFirst
This Teachers’ Day, let’s take a moment to honour incredible educators who have guided, inspired, and challenged us. Who’s the teacher that left a lasting impact on your life? Tag them and share the lesson that still resonates with you. Their dedication, patience, and belief in our potential have shaped us into the individuals we are today. #TeachersDay #Gratitude #Education #Inspiration #Teacher [Teachers Day, Education, School, Appreciation]

🌟 "The Foundation of Values: Education and Morality Start at Home! 👨👩👧👦" As we go through life, it's important to recognize the critical role that our families play in forming our values and morals, providing the framework for our educational path. Our families instill essential lessons in us from the time we are very young. These teachings, whether they emphasize the value of honesty, empathy, or persistence, go beyond formal schooling and shape us into responsible persons. CEC Family, Queen Cle👑 has returned with the 1st #mondaymessage for this school year! We are returning #backtoschool, and of course, this month's theme is all about Back to School/Building Community! Have you ever considered sharing your learner experience with your learners? Sometimes, we assume our learners are not interested in our stories. That is FAR from the truth! If we can admit, some of our learner experiences were far from perfect! This is OK! Our learners want to know about our triumphs and trials we faced in our learning experience. Our stories humanize us, and can create a safe space for learners to share their own stories about learning. As you consider all of the pedagogical strategies and ideas to cultivate community (which is 1 of the tenets of Culturally Responsive Literacy Instruction 😉), consider creating space for you and your learners to share their experiences. Make it a priority in your instructional practice to welcome and honor all experiences, including your experience, during the first few weeks of learning 💜💛 #cletiseducationconsulting #education #pedagogy #buildingcommmunity #culturallyresponsiveliteracyinstruction
