The future belongs to sustainable technologies - and hydrogen is definitely a big part of this future. 🤝 New processes that enable emission-free production from existing raw materials such as wastewater, waste or biomass are already a reality. In addition to production from waste incineration plants or biogas plants, researchers and start-ups are currently testing the production of biohydrogen from wastewater. 🚀 🔬 So there is a lot to discover about this energy source. And that's why IFAT Munich is dedicating a special spotlight area to hydrogen: "Hydrogen in the circular economy". Partners of the Spotlight Area are DVGW Deutscher Verein des Gas- und Wasserfaches and Zentrum Wasserstoff.Bayern (H2.B). From planning a hydrogen plant to storage and distribution options: for five days, nearly 10 exhibitors will present their innovative solutions on over 500 m2. In addition to a Networking Stage, current questions from industry and local authorities will be answered on the Hydrogen Stage. Discover the possibilities hydrogen offers for decentralized energy supply at IFAT Munich. More information👉 https://bit.ly/4aecueP #IFAT #wastereduction #circulareconomy #hydrogen

In our quest to design and implement an Expandable Main Sewage Treatment Plant (EMSTP) which will not only addresses the critical issue of waste management but also harnesses biogas to generate electricity, another sustainability technology is stirring us in the face, the potential of biohydrogen wastewater production for decentralized energy supply, is the next big thing to come, pushing the boundaries of sustainable technology. While these sustainable technologies offer immense potential, their successful implementation requires careful planning, investment, and collaboration. Nigeria as a developing country is poised with challenges such as technical feasibility, infrastructure requirements, government commitment buy-in and stakeholder conviction to consider it as a long-term sustainable development project. @Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Nigeria (AHK Nigeria) need to support awareness and drive investment in Nigeria to solve Nigeria's critical energy challenges toward sustainable agenda and mandate. However, with the right expertise, resources, and commitment, I firmly believe that Nigeria can lead the way in sustainable wastewater management and renewable energy production in Africa countries. Together, let us pave the way for a brighter, more sustainable future to critically consider one drop of wastewater, organic waste and biomass to derive one spark of renewable energy at a time.
