🌍 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒂𝒕𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒄 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑𝒔 Earlier this month, HVM Catapult Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Chris Dungey and Deputy CTO, Jon Blackburn visited colleagues at the National Research Council Canada / Conseil national de recherches Canada. The visit provided invaluable insights into NRC’s capabilities and fostered discussions around potential future collaboration with our network of centres. Chris and Jon connected with nearly 100 NRC colleagues from eight research centres and their Office for Facilities Renewal across Montreal, Ottawa, and Quebec. The engagement builds on the recent MoU signed between HVM Catapult and NRC Canada, which sets the stage for joint research efforts in emerging technologies. This growing transatlantic partnership is an exciting opportunity to accelerate innovation and deliver impactful solutions on a global scale. 🚀 https://bit.ly/4fxTWcI Looking forward to the collaborative journey ahead! ‘Alone we can do little, together we can do much.’ – we at RNE truly embody what Helen Keller once formulated. Our commitment is to our members, and thus, RNE expert groups continue their Member Visits. On 25 June, the #TTR #Implementation Team had the opportunity to exchange ideas with our Danish member, Banedanmark, in Copenhagen. Our key takeaways in a nutshell: 🔹With the draft capacity regulation proposed by the European Commission, TTR has gained significant importance at #BDK. The strategic endorsement clearly reflected at the operational level as well as in a comprehensive project structure and organisation. 🔹Preparation is well underway, with a national implementation plan already on the horizon. 🔹As a transit country, international harmonisation of processes is particularly crucial. #Banedanmark #RNE #RailNetEurope #MemberVisit

🇪🇺 Adra Endorses the Joint Statement for an Ambitious FP10 Adra is joining 110 European associations in advocating for increased investment in Europe’s future competitiveness through collaborative Research, Development, and Innovation (RD&I). In the current global technology race, it is crucial for the EU to enhance its RD&I investments to remain competitive. The EU Framework Programme plays a vital role in addressing this issue by mitigating market failures and reducing investment risks, thereby encouraging private RD&I investments. Its collaborative approach accelerates #technology maturation and #innovation, fostering a strong RD&I ecosystem across Member States, industry, academia, and RTOs. We are calling on the EU Institutions to significantly increase the RD&I budget for FP10. Strengthening long-term trust-based public-private partnerships will be essential to enhance Europe’s RD&I ecosystems. Read the full Joint Statement here: https://lnkd.in/ecQW8vwf
