I think Shai Krishna has not seen soo mucj over-crowded mediocre people in this design industry till now, or the case is that he thinks the industry is well matured! The Industry is rotted with these jobs, and also with those people who are mediocre at their skills, and trust me Shai, it is over-crowded, really over-crowded with these stuffs! I forgot that Ohh I should apply for jobs! Naah! I don't apply Because I know some people will care but doesn't have stipend, or either the case they don't know your value and thus they think do it for free , we will give you free LOR & etc sh***y dreams! Time for skilled designer to understand to how to stand-out amd get it done! And Understanding skill plays the biggest impact in your life 🙌✨

Here's a list of entry level jobs across the gaming industry being shared by Caitlin.

What does it take to land a junior game developer job?   First let’s see what a major studio defines a junior game developer job as.   A major studio says a junior position requires 3 – 5 years of experience.   That’s because for them, with their standards and designations within their team/organization, that’s what a junior is.   Don’t get hung up on that though. That’s the standard for larger studios.   The lesson to take away here is that different companies have different standards and different naming conventions for their roles.   There are still “real” junior dev positions out there.   Now let’s focus on something more important.   How can you find junior jobs that require 0 – 1 years of experience?   Number 1. Stop looking at the career page of major game studios (Unless you’re looking for an internship.)   Look at the THOUSANDS of other studios putting games on steam, the oculus store, google play, etc.   Reach out, network, apply.   Many of these junior jobs are hired by word of mouth and networking.   So learn to network, and network well.   Target them. “Being away from home to pursue my professional goals was tough, but it shaped me into who I am today. It taught me to be thoughtful, deliberate, and to embrace the challenges and uncertainties that life throws my way. During the initial years of my bachelor’s degree in product designing, a creative spark drove me to explore the design industry, which led to an internship on a film set as a set designer and stylist. While working on these sets, I was responsible for 3D modelling and rendering of the sets, which introduced me to the fascinating world of Augmented Reality. In my fourth year of Product designing, I worked as a design intern at the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), where I worked on electric vehicle research and design. Throughout my time exploring the design industry, I found myself in male-dominated spaces where making my voice heard was a daily struggle. During my final year, I decided to focus on AR/VR and did my final year thesis project centred on exploring virtual reality gaming and designing VR games for the Indian context. While I was doing research on AR/VR for my thesis, I encountered many companies and studios offering this technology, and that is how I got to know about Quidich. When I first joined Quidich as an intern on the HyperReality & AR team, I never imagined how my journey would unfold. Eventually, I transitioned into a full-time role as the company’s first female UI/UX designer. Once again, I was navigating the challenges of a male-dominated industry while stepping into the uncharted territory of HyperReality—a field that filled me with doubts. Did I really belong here? Could I thrive in a field so new and overwhelming? But as I immersed myself in the work, my uncertainties and doubts about Quidich and myself began to fade. I realised that this was exactly where I wanted to be—creating and contributing in ways I had never imagined. My journey is still unfolding, and though there have been challenges, I’ve learned to embrace them as opportunities to grow.
