What advice/tips do you have about attending trade shows? The team out here at PACK EXPO. Lots of new and old friends. The best way to work a conference is never to aim for selling. It’s an opportunity to learn and understand the needs of your customers. I always try to be mindful of this by asking someone at least 5 questions before talking about myself or our company…. RCN Solutions at Glasstec: a very successful and satisfying event https://lnkd.in/dE8Eek_B RCN SOLUTIONS glasstec is over, and the results are above and beyond RCN Solutions’ expectations. Four days of intense work in which the RCN team was busy welcoming all visitors, willing to give their utmost attention to everyone who crowded the booth. It has been a great opportunity to listen and talk about machines, construction choices and philosophy in lamination as well as explaining the company’s flexibility in meeting a customer’s requirements. The two-shelf semi-automatic glass laminating machines displayed at glasstec, with an active size of 3600 by 2100 millimetres, equipped with RD CLEAN CONCEPT, met great approval, and the audience was impressed by this system compared to other existing choices. The visitors liked the possibility to verify the strength, durability and performance that differentiate all of RCN’s machines. RCN’s world-wide reputation has grown along the years thanks to its commercial policies involving new products and the project, started in 2021 with RD CLEAN CONCEPT—the patented system for clean edges in lamination—aimed to facilitate logistics in production with less work for operators, which means reduced costs and time. Moreover, RCN’s customer-centric program has been awarded with a wide audience and great interest in its products. Companies came to visit RCN’s stand submitting their projects and expecting solutions involving quality products and assistance, which are two aspects RCN fervently cultivates. Visitors understood RCN is working hard to keep the promise of a reliable partnership. The portfolio of orders the company brought back from Glasstec is the response to the work made before and during the show, based of professional explanations, demonstrations and significant teamwork: professional, empathic, committed and working in harmony.

Last week I had the pleasure of attending the ACE Hardware trade show in Dallas, TX. This was my first tradeshow in a few years and it was awesome to attend in my hometown. Here are my takeaways from the show: 1. Find ways to attract people to your booth! Giveaways, highlight the unique features of your products, cool booth design, be friendly, Show the value of your product. 2. Trade show days can be long. bring snacks, have multiple people manning the booth, take breaks. 3. Learn from your booth neighbors. Watch how they attract people to their booth, ask about other shows they attend, how did they design their booth. 4. Have fun! it is easy to be negative or complain about how slow the traffic is or how many people are not stopping at your booth. Being positive will attract more people to you and your booth.
