🚀 Project Update: ATmega32 Stop Watch Timer ⏱️ Excited to share my recent project—a Stop Watch Timer built using the ATmega32 microcontroller! This stopwatch features two modes: Increment Mode: Counts up from zero, displaying hours, minutes, and seconds on six multiplexed seven-segment displays. Countdown Mode: Functions as a countdown timer with a user-defined start time. 🛠️ Key Features: Multiplexing Technique: The six seven-segment displays are controlled using a multiplexing technique, where each display is enabled sequentially to create the illusion of a continuous display. Timer1 Configuration: Used in CTC mode to accurately track stopwatch time. Reset, Pause, and Resume Functions: Control the stopwatch's state easily. Mode Toggle: Switch between counting up and down. Buzzer & LED Alerts: Notify when the countdown finishes. External Interrupts: Efficient input handling for controls like reset, pause, and resume. This project was a great opportunity to explore multiplexing techniques, timer configurations, and real-time clock management in embedded systems.
