Improved Bluetooth Behavior & Firmware Update Crystal Engineering has rolled out a new XP3i firmware update version 1.1.0. This update brings key Bluetooth improvements based on your feedback, including the ability to connect and disconnect from Bluetooth when desire. • Bluetooth will now stay on and remain discoverable until you choose to turn it off. Previously, Bluetooth would turn off after 30 seconds of disconnecting from the XP3i, but now you can reconnect anytime without needing to reactivate Bluetooth—ideal for gauges installed in hard-to-reach locations. Here's another way to shave weeks off development time. Don't re-invent the wheel. For the right application, using a Lantronix Xport (XP1001000-05R pictured here) can turn a familiar UART application into an ethernet connected device without the overhead of the associated hardware. It also makes ethernet applications possible for simple microcontroller hardware. Compared to some other PC interfaces, the sustaining is simpler because there simply are no drivers that go out of date, and it works across any operating system using a telnet-like interface.

Many of the places I visit are full of users who don't want to think about control systems, don't want to deal with hundreds of options on a touch panel, they just want to press "start" and have everything work in the way they expect. Many of these places also require these users to carry ID cards. Surely there could be a way to store the settings a user wants to use and recall those from their ID cards? Of course these kinds of solutions don't need to be the ONLY source of control in a room. (yes, another quick idea/demo put together in QSC Q-Sys, this time with a cheap RS232 card reader)

Finally , after One year of Hardware / Firmware Work , we come up with in-house USB Motion I/O ( Digital- Analogue ) cards and now successfully run for Twenty Six Field installations. More efforts and time given to Hardware side USB Diff. Impedance control match and accurate Trapezoidal profile Algorithm. It is very handy generic application board for any industrial motion application. #industrialAutomation #MotionControl
