🚀 Job Search Journey Mapping 🚀 Over the past 60 days, I've been on extensive SaaS CS job search, and I wanted to share some insights from the process for those who may find this helpful: 📜 101 Applications submitted 🔀 61 Non-responses - the silence was so deafening and demotivating 💬 35 Responses - auto rejections/ some conversations w/o moving forward 🎯 9 Screen Calls - getting my foot in the door 🤝 4 Informational Interviews - valuable insights without expectations 💻 2 Round 2 Interviews - deeper dive discussions with potential teams 🎤 2 Final Rounds - made it to the finish line for roles I love ✅ 1 Offer Accepted - and I'm beyond thrilled about the next chapter! This journey taught me a lot about my own grit, the importance of networking, and the value of each step in the process (even from the ones that did not get to respond). To anyone in the midst of their own job search: keep going, keep learning, don’t lose sight of your end goal, and celebrate life while doing all of it. I’d also love to offer my assistance.
