Day 4 🙌 I had an insightful conversation with a candidate this week regarding an entry-level role. He began by expressing his gratitude for being considered for this specific position, rather than being outright rejected from the original role he applied for. Often, we come across candidates with impressive profiles who might not be a perfect fit for the specific role they initially applied for. However, these applications can be valuable sources of talent. If a candidate shows potential within the organization, why not reach out to them 🤔 Be transparent with candidates about why their application wasn’t retained for the initial role and explain why you believe their experience is relevant for a different position.
