No matter how smart AI is, it remains what it is - artificial. It can never be as smart as humans and will never have that human touch that HR managers possess. HR managers possess a certain intuition that makes them see applicants beyond their CVs and this helps them determine who is the perfect fit for a role no matter their qualification or seeming lack of it. AI cannot do that.
Is AI Replacing HR Managers in Talent Acquisition? With the growing role of AI in talent acquisition, a big question arises: Is AI on the path to replacing HR managers? It is true that AI can analyse resumes in seconds, schedule interviews, and even assess candidates through predictive analytics. It is efficient, data-driven, and can work round the clock. But does that mean HR managers are becoming obsolete? Not so fast! AI can handle repetitive tasks, but it can’t replace the strategic thinking, empathy, and human intuition that HR managers bring to the table. Hiring is not just about matching skills to job descriptions — it is about understanding culture fit, potential, and the unique qualities that make a candidate stand out.
