Great to represent 42 Technology again at the Innovation Zero event for 2024 and to see all of the work that is going on in the area and the enthusiasm for it. There were some interesting emerging technologies exhibited today and a real emphasis on the themes of hydrogen, carbon capture and emissions monitoring as well as the drivers like regulations and finance behind them. Proud moment for the team at Carbonbit Technologies. Our Chief Executive Officer, Philip Hargreaves was at COP29 Azerbaijan to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Azerbaijan Investment Company to work together on the further development of our Direct Air Capture and Point Source Capture technology. We hope it's the start of many more collaborations to bring our technology to market and have a positive impact on climate change. Designed to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere as well as point source capture, our technology offers excellent investment opportunities on the road to net zero. It could also lead to the development of highly skilled jobs in manufacturing, robotics and artificial intelligence here in Lancashire and the North West. 🎉 Today, we celebrate World Creativity and Innovation Day! 🌍 an opportunity to thank you for those who have devoted their time/efforts, but also the colleagues/families who have placed their trust in us and supported us! Change is inevitable. Rapid transformation to clean and green energy is key to economic growth and development

"Veni, Vidi, Vinci" are the first words that come to mind after seeing Hitachi's latest sustainability promo campaign. As I mentioned a couple of days ago, the movie is called “Hitachi: Action For a Sustainable Future” and we saw its premiere yesterday. Key messages from the movie: 👉 To efficiently connect windfarms to millions of homes and businesses 👉 Next-generation battery hybrids to help fight carbon emissions 👉 GenAI and cloud storage. They have achieved enterprise-grade AI and data centers with up to 96% less CO2 👉 Robotic systems building batteries for electric school buses 👉 Las Vegas: Partnership with The Sphere to push the limits of data delivery 👉Working with a MedTech firm to develop a life-saving digital technology. It protects at-risk cardiac patients In my article l discuss the significance of sustainability for Hitachi, and provide some examples from the key messages. It's important to not only talk about something but also put it into practice. During my video interviews with various C-Level executives at MWC last year, I emphasized the need for less talk and more action. This year at MWC24, I observed a greater emphasis on taking action by different brands. I had declared that 2024 would be the year of action, and Hitachi has certainly lived up to that expectation. In 2024, I believe that Hitachi is one of the brands that has truly improved, not just in terms of communication, but also in terms of providing practical solutions. It is paramount to have action plans that are implemented, and tech giants should take the lead in setting a positive example to motivate the future generation of leaders. I am excited for what is yet to come.
