Vårgrønn expands into German offshore wind market 🌱 We are excited to announce that Vårgrønn has entered the German offshore wind market with a strategic acquisition of a 27.4% stake in the operational Baltic 2 offshore wind farm (288 MW). This marks a significant milestone for us, as we continue to grow our renewable energy portfolio across Northern Europe. With this acquisition, Vårgrønn now holds a key position in one of Europe’s leading offshore wind markets. Key highlights: 🔹 Baltic 2 is located 32 km off the coast of Germany in the Baltic Sea and has been operational since 2015 🔹 The wind farm comprises 80 Siemens turbines, generating around 1,200 GWh per year 🔹 Provides renewable energy to about 340,000 households and avoid 900,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually “Vårgrønn is pleased to enter Germany, one of the world’s largest offshore wind markets.
