Today, on World Mental Health Day, let's break down the stigma surrounding mental health. I've personally experienced the challenges of managing my mental health, and I know first hand how important it is to talk openly about these issues with someone you trust. Having someone to share your challenges with truly does help, so I encourage everyone to reach out to someone they know who might be struggling, actively listen and signpost to the support available. Let's work together to create a more compassionate and understanding world for everyone. #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealthMatters #BreakTheStigma #LetsTalk

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 1 in 5 adults in the U.S. experience mental illness each year, and this month, we encourage you to open conversations, and share resources with your communities to support the journey to mental wellness. Simultaneously, the importance of de-stigmatizing mental health, and encouraging prioritizing mental health care without shame is invaluable. This is also an opportunity to build your coping toolbox, and to gain a better understanding of how you can set yourself up for success in the event of stressful, or difficult situations. Mental Health America has created a landing page with resources containing tools to aid and identity different conditions, educational resources, and guides for how to find additional help, available here: https://lnkd.in/grw-UkPq #mentalhealthawarenessmonth #osp
