How to Prioritize Features for Your MVP 🔍 Building an MVP isn’t about delivering everything at once—it’s about identifying the must-have features that solve your users’ main problem. Start by listing all potential features, then filter them down based on user impact and business value. Ask yourself, “What’s the one problem my users need solved right now?” By keeping only the essentials, you can launch faster and focus on delivering a clear solution. Avoid feature overload, and remember, it’s better to do one thing very well than to do many things poorly. Focused MVPs help you connect with users from day one. 💡 #FeaturePrioritization #ProductDevelopment #Focus #LeanMVP #StartupEssentials

Common MVP Mistakes That Drain Time and Money Spent weeks building an MVP only to realize you’ve wasted time and money? You’re not alone. Here are some facts that might save you from making costly mistakes: Why do so many MVPs fail to launch on time? Many founders focus on perfecting every feature instead of getting a basic version out quickly. Remember, MVP stands for Minimum Viable Product. Stick to solving one core problem. Can I skip market research if I’m confident about my idea? Never. Skipping market research is a surefire way to build something nobody wants. Validate before you build – every time. Should we build a custom tech stack for our MVP? Not at first. Start with proven, scalable tools. Custom solutions come later when you’ve validated your idea. When should I start gathering user feedback? Right away! The sooner you hear from real users, the faster you’ll know if you’re on the right path. Early feedback saves months of wasted effort. Mistakes happen, but you can avoid these common ones and get your MVP to market faster. Focus on what's essential and test early. 💡 #MVPDevelopment #StartupMistakes #FailFast #ProductLaunch

MVPs are dead - you might often hear. Here's why I disagree. In a sea of acronyms like MLP, MMP, Mxx - you name it - it's easy to get lost and confused. Shipping half-backed products and calling them MVPs doesn't help either. But it's not about the label, but its purpose - testing and validating critical product & business assumptions. And that's as true as ever. With this in mind, the MVP can be: 👉 a landing page to test your #UVP 👉 a prototype to test a user flow 👉 a video to explain the product 👉 the critical part of your product put together in a no-code / low-code tool Last year, in our online event - "Defining and Validating your MVP" - we discussed strategies to save resources by avoiding useless features, over-engineering, over-polishing, delaying feedback, and other common pitfalls. To make things concrete, we reviewed a case study from one of our projects at Durran. Check out the presentation deck here: https://lnkd.in/d_MJ5SHc Take a look at the recording: https://lnkd.in/dX7N5F37 The MVP is dead. Long live the MVP. #mvp #startup #productdesign #uxdesign
