Program Staff from the National Institute of Health’s (NIH) Small Business Innovation Research and Small Bussiness Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) Programs are hosting public events for start-ups and entrepreneurs for information on funding for these companies. Also known as America’s Seed Fund, is one of the largest funding programs for start-ups, entrepreneurs, and small businesses. NIH provides almost $1.5 billion a year in non-dilutive funding for products and services that reflect and support the NIH’s research mission. Funding for startups and small businesses ranges from life sciences products like drugs and therapeutics to digital health and services. Additional topics covered include diversifying participation in clinical trials, women's health research, and service delivery. This event is for investors focusing on Seed and pre-series A companies interested in referring companies to apply or investing in companies in NIH’s portfolio and small businesses and entrepreneurs interested in applying for SBIR/STTR opportunities.
