We are professionals, office workers being employed to do our jobs, as specified, as per contracted. Datang kerja, buat kerja, balik, collect gaji. Tak salah. But some people. They aspire. They dream of becoming something larger than they are presently. Not everyone wants to become influencer, to create contents, to be famous over the realm of seven social media platforms. Some, wants to work in office. But they are not content to merely exist throughout their career. They wish to lead the rat race. They dream of climbing the proverbial ladder. Hence, they seek to develop themselves. They attend training. They make time for learning. This is also not wrong. It is not a race. It is only you, against yourself. Awesome Fit (MPU 3492) Unimas Self Reflection on our Project Reflecting on my project experience at SMK Kota Samarahan, I can see how much I have learned and grown throughout the process. The project aimed to improve teamwork, communication skills and education for students, and I was the exco logistic, working with a team of dedicated students. Our main goals were carry and load things such as our tools and needs to make sure our program goes well and smooth. We managed to achieve most of these objectives, especially in team working such as giving orders during activities like menara cawan, baling kelapa, dance, and so on. However, we did face some challenges, like communication breakdown and technical breakdown where our PA system is weak, which sometimes slowed us down. But we didnt let these stop us from continuing our work. We carry on smoothly for the sake of our project. During the project, I encountered several obstacles, such as managing different personalities within the team and ensuring everyone communicated effectively as most of the students that participated were not following the rules of the game. Therefore, a strict order is given in a strict way. Plus, some of my team members care less about the activity. Scheduling conflicts and balancing workloads were tough, but we addressed these problems through discussion face to face and clear communication. Talking about our activities more. This project also allowed me to develop new skills, such team work, communicate better and learn problem-solving strategies. Looking back on the entire experience, I realize how important it is to be adaptable, work well with others, and keep learning to complete projects successfully. The lessons and skills I gained from this project will definitely help me in my future endeavors. I am happy that I was able to join Awesome Fit for this semester. Cheers to Smk Kota Samarahan. Overthinking Versus Rationalization as Professionals : (1) Are you worrying for nothing? Sounds familiar? (2) Overthinking can lead to excessive worry and anxiety. It often involves dwelling on past events or worrying about future outcomes, making it hard to focus or take actions. (3) Cases of overthinking : (3.1) Evading a new job offer - relocation to out of state office such as Terengganu or Johor : Very faraway from KL. Have already bought a home at KL. Have to rent a new home. New schooling for the kids. New challenging job, new roles. No work life balance. (3.2) Purchasing a new home : Faraway from home town. Difficult to find a new tenant. High maintenance cost. Maintenance crew. Small rental gains. Just an apartment / condo, ain't a landed property. (3.3) Broaden Networking : Meeting total strangers. Wasting time and money. No short-term or long term gains. Sceptical, inferior, stigma. Sharing experiences. Visibility or being popular. Be a networker or a lone wolf instead. (3.4) Maintaining old model cars : High maintenance cost. Status quo. Price depreciation. Prudent budget, frugal spending. (3.5) Having a life partner : Unnecessary burdens. Risks of being divorced. Higher liabilities, obligations. Less freedom. Stress and anxiety. (3.6) Hopping jobs: New working culture. Salary hike. New Superior. New performance appraisals. Potential career progressions.
