👉🏼 Recent news surrounding Sean John Combs, also known as #Diddy, and other high-profile figures has brought to light the disturbing reality of abuse by those in power. While these scandals often capture headlines in #Hollywood and the world of global #celebrities, they are not confined to these circles. Abuse of power can occur anywhere—even in small towns. One consistent factor is how #victims are #manipulated into trapped situation and being silence, and how those around them turn a blind eye, allowing the cycle of abuse to deepen and affect more lives. When someone’s #career or #professional_reputation is at stake, they often endure the situation for years, fearing that speaking out may end not only their profession but also their livelihood. This is not a matter of geographical boundaries—whether in Afghanistan, the EU, or the USA—and it is not limited to entertainment industries. It happens across sectors, including #academia. Why is it that when someone shows exceptional talent or potential, there are others who exploit their power, either to suppress or harm them? Why do so many look away and allow this abuse to continue for years? By the time the program ended in December 1944, the Incarceration relocation program resulted in some $400 million in lost property for families sent to the camps. 🌟An inspiring story of hope and resilience🌟 Meet Mehboob Masih and his family, who, like many Pakistani Christians, were ensnared in the vicious cycle of debt bondage at a brick kiln. Forced to work long hours in grueling conditions, their debt only seemed to increase. The kiln owner's threats kept them from seeking help or even leaving. Yet, in their darkest hour, a ray of hope emerged. The NGO, "Redeem the Oppressed", stepped in, offering legal assistance, advocacy, and financial support. They secured the family's release and helped them embark on a new journey of freedom and opportunity. This story isn't just about the Masih family. It's a testament to the power of collective action and the crucial role of organizations like Redeem the Oppressed in combating modern slavery and uplifting marginalized communities. ✨Personal Reflection: It's stories like these that remind me of the importance of supporting and advocating for those who are voiceless. Widows of Military and paramilitary, a discussion that requires attention. Egenuka Ngozi Why should a widow spend 7-10 years chasing her late husband's entitlement? These questions media should be seeking to know. As a police widow, the discrepancy of widows treatment from officers of cabal, rank and file and snr officers, should not be if a structured functional policy is implemented. Unfortunately they are exposed to further abuse, from sexual to financial exploitation. What and why is it so difficult for the office to gather facts of a serving personnel of years, who just died and raise a cheque for his widow at his death? Because there is no strong social security and people's support systems to end widows abuse as we talk about it every now and then as content. #widowsinclusion

This is what #brainwash looks like. When someone who looks normative acts in contrast to any human value (e.g. supporting the release of innocent, civilian hostages, suffering and dying in the hands of a cruel #terrorist organization) and clearly demonstrate they are AGAINST such humane act. How does this happen? It starts with #usefulidiots with no real purpose in life. Usually spending the majority of their time doomscrolling their #socialmedia feeds, being fed amplified pieces of misinformation, amplified by foreign governments (China, Russian, Iran and North Korea) controlled algorithms, shaping their malleable perception of "reality" into what serves those bad actors agendas. Those effected are easily manipulated to think the ideas planted in their heads are their own. They are (easily) led to believe that they're "courageously fighting the just fight". They are (easily) led to believe they are now part of "the revolution" to make everything better (although, had they stopped to think for a second, they'd realize their partners to that revolution are nothing more than #anarchists, #terrorsupporters, #agentsofchaos and, surprisingly enough - #radicalislam that would never tolerate the Western way of life. From there, those little "culture warriors" go on to rip the posters calling to the release of civilian hostages. Don't be fooled though. Some take it further and will be aiding and abetting #terrorists attacks in their own country. All for the "cause". #publicsafety

The Secret to dealing with WordPress is ignoring 90% of what's on the screen and "outsourcing" to plug-ins whenever possible. A lot of times the only time I'm in it is to connect or disconnect adapters/plug-ins or flip on/off admin settings. I'm not sure there's a better "exo-skeleton" out there for random sites you need setup that needs to be "future proofed" to a certain extent. You're probably not going to be able to build a billion dollar business based on the Walmart of CMS, but it is flexible and "open source" enough to get the job done for many SMBs. The interesting (but also confusing to many) part of WordPress is there are entire sections of the platform you don't even have to use or configure. It all depends on your site's functionality needs, who needs access and what your business goals are.
