🎃👻 Happy Halloween! 👻🎃 As we dive into the spooky festivities today, let’s celebrate the most popular spirits that make Halloween gatherings memorable! Here’s a closer look at the top choices: Tequila: This versatile spirit is a Halloween favorite, often featured in creative cocktails. Margaritas whether classic or flavored with seasonal fruits are a must have. Another popular choice is the Tequila Sunrise, with its vibrant colors reminiscent of a Halloween sunset. Tequila's lively spirit truly enhances any celebration! Vodka: Known for its smoothness and adaptability, vodka is the backbone of many Halloween cocktails. The Bloody Mary, with its rich flavors and garnishes, is a classic choice for brunch or festive gatherings. Additionally, vodka can be used to create themed cocktails like a Witch's Brew, combining flavors like lime and blackberries for a spooky twist. Rum: Often associated with tropical vibes, rum can easily fit into the Halloween scene. Dark rum shines in cocktails like the Dark 'n' Stormy, made with ginger beer, or Rum Punch, which can be mixed with autumn spices and fruit juices. Its warmth and sweetness make it a comforting option for chilly October nights. Whiskey: A popular choice for those who prefer a richer flavor profile, whiskey can be enjoyed neat or in cocktails. The Hot Toddy is a beloved warm drink perfect for Halloween festivities, offering comfort as temperatures drop. For a twist, try a Whiskey Sour with a splash of apple cider for that seasonal flair. Gin: With its herbal and botanical notes, gin adds a refreshing element to Halloween cocktails. A classic Gin and Tonic can be dressed up with spooky garnishes like blackberries or rosemary for a hauntingly beautiful drink. Creative mixologists also craft cocktails like the Corpse Reviver for a fun twist! Cheers to a night of frights, delights, and cocktails that might just raise the spirits literally! 🍸👻 #Halloween #Spirits #Tequila #Vodka #Rum #Whiskey #Gin #Cheers

🌱👻 Boo! Happy Halloween from Grandma Sita's ghost! These adorable persimmon fruit pumpkins are a healthy treat perfect for the spooky night of the year. Ready to Trick or Fruit? 🎃 Get creative making fun, artistic and healthy Jack-o’-lanterns by drawing pumpkin faces on seasonal fruits like persimmons, oranges, and tangerines. There are endless amounts of faces you could create. 😋 Persimmons, also called kaki fruit, are orange-coloured fruits that have a delicate honey-like flavour and silky texture. They can be eaten raw, dried, or cooked, and are versatile in sweet and savoury recipes. Persimmons are a great ingredient in puddings, cookies, cakes, custard, ice creams, smoothies, etc. 💪 Persimmons are low in calories and high in fibre. Their mix of antioxidants and nutrients, including vitamins A and C, makes them ideal for a healthy diet. 👵💚 Grandma Sita’s tips: *Persimmon peels are completely edible but a bit hard. Whether or not to peel the fruit is a matter of personal preference and the recipe that you're using. The leaves can be used to make tea and the seeds can be roasted. *It is best to store persimmons at room temperature, unripe persimmons will continue to ripen. Ripe persimmons are best eaten immediately, but you can refrigerate them. For long-term storage, they can be frozen or dried. ♻️ There are plenty of ways to reduce your waste this Halloween, take a look around your home for items that can be repurposed for Halloween costumes and decor, old sheets can become ghosts and Mason jars can be turned into creepy lanterns. 🌎 Celebrating Halloween in an eco-friendly and zero-waste way is not only achievable and affordable, but it is also a significant step to reduce our environmental footprint while enjoying this popular holiday. Win-win! #grandmasita #foodeducation #eatlocal #seasonalfood #plantbased #sustainableliving #SustainableHalloween #healthyhalloween #halloweenideas #inspiration #positiveimpact #content #like #share

A beer tower, a jolly holiday dinner, and lots of beer. That’s what we needed to create three spots for a Sam Adams campaign. It still amazes me how much detail goes into planning video campaigns 🤯. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐚: A champagne tower made of champagne glasses but filled with beer. Sounds simple. But… - How many glasses do we need? - How many rows can we build so it looks impressive but can still be set up in time? - How do we keep the foam looking delicious for longer periods and multiple takes? - How does the fountain react to the beer foaming and pouring? - Do we need to wipe the table after each take? And so many more questions we had to ask ourselves before stepping on set. Same with our holiday dinner. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐚: A large and festive holiday dinner - What kind of meals should we prepare? - How many meals do we need to fill the frame? - Can we prep on set/is there a kitchen available? - What other decorations do we need to bring? - Where do we find a turkey in August? These are just some of the questions that arise during pre-pro calls. The simple answer to all this is planning (and a little bit of luck 👀). Testing scenarios prior to stepping on set is key. Everything that sounds difficult in my head needs to be tested by the department responsible for it. Most of the more difficult camera moves we work with are tested on a pre-light day to make sure we don’t waste any time during the actual shoot. If you’ve produced a video before, you know well that there are curveballs thrown at you from all directions. Minimizing the risk and knowing how to hit those curveballs are paramount to keeping on schedule.
