Here's where things are in the Utah housing market as of 3/18/2024 Current Inventory = 7,189 Prior Week Average DOM = 56 Ave List$ = $606,048 Prior Week List$ vs Sold$ = -$6,700 Prior Week Homes Sold = 485 Currently Under Contract = 5,062 Prior Week Price Reductions = 581 Prior Week Listings Cx/Ex/Withdrawn = 272 DOM is leveling out and looks like it could start trending down, List$ vs Sold$ looks to be trending closer to no difference, Homes Sold looks to be traveling up; All of these points tell us: spring is on its way 🙂 And the great news is that inventory continues to inch its way upward, which will keep home prices from shooting higher than they otherwise would.
