📢 - The representation of our businesses is of paramount importance, that’s why for the past few weeks, we have listened to your concerns as a business community and acted decisively. Earlier this month, we communicated urgent concerns to Wirral Council's leadership regarding the frequent turnover of Regeneration Directors, inadequate strategic engagement, and risks to the delivery of key projects. Collectively, our chamber represents hundreds of local businesses, thousands of employees, and a significant portion of Wirral’s economy. Our chamber is a formidable force for positive change and it’s vital that we continue to play a significant role in shaping Wirral’s economic future. The key points we have made to Wirral Council are clear: ▪️ Appoint a Regeneration Director committed to establishing stability within the department and longevity in their role. ▪️Avoid missed opportunities in regeneration projects. ▪️ Engage at a strategic level with the business community on economic development. 😡 Freemasons run RBKC COUNCIL are killing innocent women. My profound outrage regarding the actions of the Conservative Party and this council, which I believe are driving innocent individuals, particularly women, to the brink of despair. The gravity of these misscounduct which suggest involvement in activities that can only be described as fraudulent and corrupt, is staggering. It is deeply shameful that individuals such as Ashcroft and Rami Ranger are implicated in these actions. The misconduct that appears to be taking place, including actions of racketeering and attempts to undermine the well-being of residents, has caused immense suffering, including threats to my own life. I am appalled to have once supported a party and council that now seem to prioritize their own interests over the welfare of the community. How can you, as representatives of the public, continue to show your faces knowing the harm you are causing and the serious crimes that are allegedly occurring under your watch? It is time for accountability. The community deserves better, and it is disheartening to witness such a blatant disregard for ethics and the well-being of your constituents.

Last year, the Alliance visited the US to explore social licence approaches in Defence Communities. While we’ve written a separate detailed report on that topic, this report captures broader insights into US city building, highlighting different approaches to similar challenges we face in Perth. What becomes clear when visiting other cities is how often we rely on a "Perth" approach to solving problems—recycling the same thinking that created them. By examining the creativity and diverse perspectives of other regions, we can unlock new ways to build better, more inclusive cities. This report covers a range of topics, from tackling homelessness to enhancing public transport, and even everyday architectural interventions. It’s a collection of lessons learned that could inspire meaningful change here in Perth.
