🌞Why Foreign Companies Should Continue Hiring in Asia During Summer As the summer season unfolds, many decision-makers in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) contemplate whether to maintain their recruitment efforts or pause for the warmer months. At Talent Fishers, we believe that summer is an opportune time for foreign companies to hire in Asia, especially for those who already have a team in the region or are planning to build one. Here’s why: 1. Availability of Top Talent - Greater Candidate Availability: Summer tends to be a slower period for many businesses, making candidates more available for interviews and open to exploring new opportunities. - No Summer Downtime: Unlike Europe, where July and August are common months for extended vacations, the business culture in Asia generally does not include long summer breaks. This ensures a steady flow of candidates and uninterrupted recruitment processes. 2. Cost-Effective Recruitment - Competitive Salaries: The cost of hiring in Asia can be more economical compared to Western countries, providing SMEs the opportunity to maximize their budget. 3. Diverse and Skilled Workforce - Multilingual Capabilities: Asia boasts a diverse pool of multilingual professionals, beneficial for companies looking to expand their global reach. - Tech-Savvy Professionals: Countries like India, China, and Singapore are renowned for their tech talent, making Asia a hotspot for industries such as IT, software development, and engineering. 4. Strategic Market Expansion - Local Market Insight: Hiring local talent provides invaluable insights into regional markets, helping companies tailor their strategies effectively. 5. Enhanced Company Agility - 24/5 Operations: Employing staff in different time zones allows for round-the-clock business operations, enhancing productivity and customer service. Conclusion Summer is a great time to tap into Asia’s vast talent pool. By continuing recruitment efforts during this season, SMEs with existing or planned teams in the region can leverage the availability of candidates, cost-effective hiring solutions, and the strategic benefits of a diverse and skilled workforce. Additionally, the consistent business culture and government incentives make Asia an attractive region for expanding your team. Ready to enhance your recruitment strategy this summer? Day 1030 : The latest news reported on a group of young people aged 20 to 25 who posted fake or unavailable jobs online everywhere. They were getting paid as much as 10k per month. How will they end up? What do you think? I applied for jobs during the first two years when I was jobless for almost two years straight, but I hardly received any responses to my applications. HR business partners today seem to prefer gossiping rather than examining by themselves! this is the trending so called modern society improved towards non-biased direction! Recently, I saw two high-paying jobs on MyCareersFuture in Singapore, and they invited me for an interview (no background/no details about those companies)! The job functions don’t match my background, so I’m curious, with so many advanced AIs and assistance available, why can’t they eliminate all the scam job postings in the platform? Instead, they always train users to pay for high awareness!
