#FundingNews - Grants of up to £5,000 Available for Projects that Help the Homeless Small Homeless charities can apply for grants of up to £5,000 for projects that aim to help homeless people rebuild their lives. To be eligible to apply, applicants must be a registered charity and have an annual turnover of under £500,000, with ‘unrestricted reserves’ of under six months. Typically, organisations awarded funding operate residential or training facilities to assist homeless people.

You've had promoters of what you call NIL collectives. Essentially, an organization would be formed to pool money to pay out NIL deals to athletes. If you were a booster of a particular school and wanted your school to bring in some of the top athletes, the play was to contribute to these pools or collections. Yourself and others would pull the money together, and then that collective would turn around and pay the athletes as an incentive to come to the school. The tax implications of that play were that these collectives were created as nonprofits. So anytime boosters or supporters would contribute to these collectives, they were treated as charitable contributions. When the wishes of the VOCAL minority take over the well being of the Majority - we end up with dictatorship. Watch what happened with Bangla Desh and what will happen to United Kingdom. Dictatorship in a 'civilized/ democratic country can be simple as two tier policing. The same happens in a business when we start catering for ALL minorities - we end up with a lower standard. The basic rule in business is survival of the fittest. The businesses are not there as a charity - although charities are a business - so if you are of a 'special group' then set up a business for that group and be a success: BUT don't expect ALL businesses to cater for you.
