🎄 Each year, as we pull out the decorations, one tradition reigns supreme for me: decorating the Christmas (or Holiday, if that’s your style) tree. But with it comes the dreaded Griswoldian task of testing and checking the tree lights – because let’s face it, any Christmas tree loses its magic and simply doesn’t have the same charm when it’s filled with burned-out bulbs. And let's be honest, a decorated tree is much like life. Each one is unique—some vibrant and colorful, some grand and elaborate, others thoughtfully themed, and some adorned with cherished memories of holidays past. As we try to fill as much joy, love, and excitement of the Holidays into just 4 short weeks, it's also a perfect time to reflect on how we can "tend to our lights" and make sure we're shining brightly for ourselves and others. Whether it's through small moments of quiet or acts of self-care, tending to our "flickering" parts can help us fully embrace the beauty of the season. It is the season of giving, but we have to remember that it's also the season of giving yourself a break and getting a chance to restore your own light —because self-care is just as important as the joy we spread. #SelfCare #Restore #Reflect #MerryChristmas #HappyHolidays

Christmas cactuses are a holiday favorite, with their vibrant blooms adding a cheerful touch to your home or office. With proper care, these resilient plants can thrive for years to come. Here’s how to keep your Christmas cactus healthy and blooming: 🌵 Place your Christmas cactus in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves. 🌵 Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil feels dry. Ensure the pot has drainage holes, and never let the plant sit in standing water. 🌵 These tropical plants love humidity. Use a pebble tray or mist the leaves occasionally to maintain the right environment. 🌵 Keep your Christmas cactus in a room with consistent temperatures between 65-75°F. Avoid drafts, heat vents, or sudden temperature changes. 🌵 To encourage blooms, provide your cactus with 12-14 hours of darkness each night and cooler temperatures (around 50-60°F) for 6-8 weeks leading up to the holiday season. 🌵 Feed with a diluted houseplant fertilizer every 4 weeks during the growing season (spring through summer) and reduce feeding in the fall. With these simple care tips, your Christmas cactus will reward you with vibrant blooms and lasting beauty. ✨ Follow us for more plant care insights and ideas to bring greenery into your space year-round!
