Bluetooth SIG has now adopted Channel Sounding as part of Bluetooth v6.0 core specification. We are happy to share the support of the technology in the forthcoming nRF54 Series SoCs.    Channel Sounding changes the game on how Bluetooth Low Energy devices measure distance and detect presence, extending the technology’s flexibility and promising a new range of applications.    “The Bluetooth SIG’s adoption of Channel Sounding significantly enhances the precision of previous Bluetooth distance measuring techniques and encourages innovation across the Bluetooth device ecosystem. Nordic is excited by the possibilities the technology opens up for its customers. It has the unique ability to shoot in 8K resolution and supports 5G connectivity. Nokia 360 Camera is the world's first 360-degree camera designed for industrial use and capable of working in extreme environments. It is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon X65 5G modem and also supports Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity. The company guarantees a high level of data protection through the use of its own Real-time eXtended Reality Multimedia software and additional security equipment. Nokia 360 Camera is capable of capturing high-quality videos in 8K resolution. Thanks to 5G and broadband, the camera ensures minimal broadcast latency. One of the first places where the camera will be tested will be the Pyhäsalmi mine in Finland, which is up to 1.5 kilometers deep. The device is designed to withstand high temperatures, shock and vibration. In addition, the company offers additional Nokia RXRM APIs for integrating analytics and overlays on top of real-time video streaming. About the cost of the new device, the manufacturer has not yet reported #gadgets
