Thank you to the lovely individuals who offered me private feedback on my video below 🙏🏻 YES! I absolutely agree with you, my video isn’t perfect. I definitely need to improve my position and lighting. And yes, I stumbled occasionally with my delivery. I agree, I wasn’t looking into the camera. That’s perfectly ok. And thank you for your time! I know that I’m imperfect. I’m completely fine with that 🤩 I also know that, with your feedback, I’ll improve my video delivery skills, and that your feedback isn’t a commentary on my identity or character. You’re helping me grow a new skill! And all I need to do is practice and listen to your feedback. And grow my competence and confidence. ♦️I really would like to make a point here! I’ve seen how women hold themselves back because they’re not 100% perfect. My clients tell me ‘I’m not ready for that promotion yet’ and ‘I’m not good enough to be a manager’. I’ve seen and EXPERIENCED how a lack of confidence can stop me …and women …from ‘giving it a go’. Because most of us have received harsh criticism from others when we’ve pushed our boundaries outside our comfort zone. And we’ve sought a different life, greater fulfilment and more joy and happiness in our lives. I’ve also seen how our life experiences can lead us to make choices and decisions that RECREATE our expectations and lived experiences. Often leading women to feeling insecure, and isolated. Feeling a gnawing sense of shame that we're ‘not QUITE good enough’. When we de-value our self worth and gifts. ♦️And here’s what I want to say: I was in the exact same boat until I discovered the hidden barriers holding me back. THIS is why I’m so passionate and excited about the possibility of sharing what I’ve learned with women across Australia in a group setting. To learn new mindsets and capabilities that can release us from these hidden barriers holding us back from ‘giving it a go’. Even though we’re ALL brilliant and imperfect. #mindset #women #hiddenbarriers #psychology
