Architectural wood expected to be widely used: Cross Laminated Timber (CLT), and it is a wood-based material that is made by arranging sawn boards and then laminating and bonding them so that the fiber directions are perpendicular to each other. It is a large, thick board that is used not only as a structural material for buildings, but also for civil engineering materials, furniture, etc. In Japan, the CLT-related Building Standards Act was promulgated and enforced in April 2016. As a result, general use of CLT has begun. The need for SDGs is socially demanded.
