"That first sip of a rare, old Scotch whisky isn’t just a taste. It’s a conversation with culture and a journey through the past, with a spirit distilled in a by-gone era which has slowly slumbered in cask while the world around it morphed, developed, shifted, progressed and moved." Joel Harrison takes us on an evocative journey through a poetic introspection of discovering the new flavours, stories and sips within Scotch Whisky. 📜 Today, we unveil a secret: why is whiskey smoked in the glass? You can never have too much smoke when it comes to a whiskey cocktail, especially with our Scotсh FLY! Want to add depth and intensity to the flavor? Then try the smoky ritual – a technique beloved by true connoisseurs. It enhances the hints of peat and oak barrels already present in our blend, turning each sip into a rich, refined pleasure. ❓ How do the pros do it? They smoke the whiskey right in the glass (there are many methods!), adding a few drops of orange bitters, a piece of ice, and a touch of orange zest. The combination of smoke and these ingredients creates a truly unique, sophisticated experience, heightening the flavor profile. 🥃 But for those who want to experience the pure essence of our whiskey, without any additions, the classic method remains unrivaled. It preserves every subtle note and highlights the strength of Scottish whiskey-making tradition. FLY – crafted in Scotland to honor ancient traditions and the spirit of true whiskey.

The secret to a truly unforgettable whisky? It's all in the bold, distinctive character that sets it apart. Craigellachie 13-Year-Old is a perfect example of just that. You take one sip and immediately taste the difference that robust ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry cask maturation makes. Toasted marshmallows Fire-roasted pineapples Baked apples with cloves ↳ this whisky takes you on a flavour journey like no other. It's the kind of whisky that makes an impression and leaves you wanting more. Because here's the thing… Life's too short to settle for mediocre whisky. You deserve to savour something truly special. Something that excites your senses and leaves a lasting memory. So here’s my advice… → Look for whiskies that use a mix of interesting casks to create complex, multi-layered flavours → Opt for age statements over 10 years to ensure a richer, more developed character → Don't be afraid to try bolder whiskies that push the boundaries - that's where the magic happens Pour a glass, sit back, and get ready to experience whisky in a whole new way.

What is new make spirit? 🥃 New make spirit is unaged whisky. It’s the clear liquid that comes off the still after distillation, before maturing in barrels. The casks provide most of whiskies colour. It’s very strong, typically above 70% ABV. Maturation and dilution bring whisky down to familiar bottling strengths. The term 'new make' is most commonly associated with Scotch whisky. In America, it’s called white dog, hooch, white lightning, or moonshine. Essentially, moonshine is unaged whiskey, though often more complex. The same goes for Irish poitín, which is quite similar to new make.

Marrying Traditions with a Twist – A Gin and Whisky Love Story Ever heard of a love story between gin and whisky? Well, buckle up for some unconventional sipping because there's a new spirit in town blending London Dry Gin with The Glenturret Distillery's new-make spirit. Traditions are cozy, but let's be honest, sometimes playing matchmaker with unexpected partners is where the real magic happens. I mean, who would have thought gin and whisky could be more than just bar buddies? One gem from the article says it all: "It's a bold move, meshing two distinct spirits into one harmonious blend." That's like chocolate meeting peanut butter for the first time – simply meant to be! At Supergay Spirits, we cheer for bold blends and the mavericks mixing them. It's why we're all about stirring the pot (or the cocktail shaker, really). We value brave creativity like this, and it's exciting to see others do the same. So here's to the rule-benders – may our glasses always brim with innovation! Find out more about this novel concoction right here: [Article Link]https://buff.ly/3U9mGjG 10 spirits launches in March
