It’s my first time to NeoCon. If I’ve learned anything from today, it’s that booths, pods, and modular focused work zones like ours (Inbox Booths - Soundproof Office Booths) are on the rise. Most major furniture manufacturers are offering a booth. It makes sense. Competition is on the rise (more about that below). The research I’ve been reading says that knowledge workers would prefer to have a door to close to curb distractions and interruptions. Deeper work means more fulfillment in their job. A common office conflict or issue is that there aren’t enough places to take calls or people “camp” in the meeting rooms or booths. They end up in stairwells, or patios, or hallways, or in their cars and wonder why they aren’t just working from home. Flexibilty and modularity is a major theme as business leaders try to build the office for an unpredictable future. Teams grow and shrink. Office needs constantly shift. The typical answer has been construction, but it is expensive, hard to manage, and takes time. I also see a world where booths become the norm in public spaces. Imagine being able to sit and work in a booth at the community center as your kid practices basketball. Or not having to go back to your hotel room at a conference for meetings. Or being able to work in a hotel lobby when you have 5 hours before your flight but you have to check out of your room. I could go on and on with use cases. I walked the floors of the massive furniture show and went into all of the booths. Competition shuts a lot of people down. For me it confirms the demand in the market. It forces innovation and sharpens us as a business and requires us to dig deeper to ensure we are offering what our customers need and want. There are some really nice booths on the market! Still, I’m more confident than ever in the value we provide and our position in the market. We offer - -High quality, high performing, beautiful products -The best value for dollars spent -Human centered service -Speed & simplicity -Values driven and cohesive team If you are at Neocon and would like to talk hit me up. 4 essential rules for office interior design: 1. Functionality: The office space should be designed to support the functional needs of the employees. This includes ergonomic furniture, efficient layout, and adequate storage to promote productivity and comfort. 2. Brand Representation: The office design should reflect the company's brand identity and values. This can be achieved through the use of company colors, logos, and design elements that align with the brand's image. 3. Lighting: Proper lighting is crucial for creating a productive and comfortable work environment. Natural light is ideal, but if not available, artificial lighting should be well-distributed and adjustable to reduce glare and eye strain. 4. Flexibility: Office spaces should be designed to accommodate various work styles and activities. This can include flexible furniture arrangements, adaptable meeting spaces, and designated areas for collaboration and individual work. Adhering to these rules can help create an office environment that is not only visually appealing but also conducive to employee well-being and productivity.

In today's competitive market, a company's brand identity extends far beyond its logo and marketing materials. 🏢Office design plays a pivotal role in reflecting and reinforcing a company’s brand identity, culture, and values. As an interior designer, I've seen firsthand how thoughtful design can transform a workspace into a powerful tool for branding. Here’s how you can leverage interior design to align your office with your brand. 1. 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝'𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞. This will guide your design decisions to ensure every element reflects your brand's essence.🌟 2. 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐬 Use your brand’s color palette throughout the workspace via wall paint, furniture, artwork, and accessories. 🎨 Consistent use of brand colors reinforces your identity and creates a cohesive look. 3. 𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐬 Incorporate branded signage, logos, and graphics such as wall decals and custom artwork. 🖼️ These elements serve as reminders of your brand’s presence and values. 4. 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 Reflect your company culture in the design. For an innovative culture, use open layouts and collaborative spaces. 💡 For a traditional culture, use private offices and formal meeting rooms. Design should support how your team works and interacts. 5. 𝐓𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 Use your office space to tell your company’s story with a timeline wall, awards, and achievements. 🏆 This reinforces your brand’s narrative and instills pride among employees. 6. 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 A well-designed office boosts employee morale and productivity. Create comfortable, functional spaces with breakout areas, quiet zones, and ergonomic workstations to show you value their well-being.😊 7. 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬 Reflect sustainability by using eco-friendly materials, energy-efficient lighting, and sustainable furniture. 🌿 This strengthens your brand’s commitment to the environment and attracts like-minded clients and employees. 8. 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 Ensure the reception area, meeting rooms, and common areas convey professionalism and trustworthiness. 💼Use these spaces to showcase your brand’s strengths and ethos, leaving a lasting impression on clients. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 Branding through interior design reinforces your company’s identity, culture, and values. By incorporating brand elements into your office design, you create a cohesive and professional space that resonates with employees and clients.
