Howard University School of Education’s Post

We are proud to announce that Howard University’s School of Education (SOE) has received a successful accreditation report from the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), reaffirming our commitment to excellence in preparing future educators, leaders and psychologists. The SOE has met all CAEP standards and has been re-accredited for the next seven years, until Spring 2031. This achievement reflects the dedication of our faculty, staff, and students, as well as Howard University’s steadfast support for high-quality academic programs. Additional gratitude to the university leadership that helped to foster an environment where quality and continuous improvement are prioritized. Accreditation not only confirms our adherence to the highest standards of education preparation but also strengthens our resolve to continue fostering innovation and equity in education. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this outstanding accomplishment. Together, we are shaping the future of education with excellence and purpose! Dawn Williams, Ph.D. Dean School of Education
