The biggest mistake sellers make? Selling. But today's customers don't want to be sold. They want to be helped. In fact, a customer's first impression of you is based on whether or not they feel like you're genuinely trying to help them. How can you help? 1) Listen to them 2) Empathize with them 3) Educate them When you help them, you’ll build a relationship of trust. You’ll be appreciated, and you’ll be sought out, too. So, stop selling and start helping. Remember, your customer doesn't care about what you're selling. They care about how you can help them solve their problem.
