Recently returned from the incredible IPVC2024 Conference in Edinburgh, Scotland, where I presented abstract posters developed by the HPV Vaccine Acceleration Program Partners Initiative (HAPPI) Consortium on key lessons from Nigeria’s successful introduction of the HPV vaccine. Deeply thrilled and grateful to be a part of the HAPPI team and for the unwavering commitment of every stakeholder who have worked to ensure a cervical cancer-free future for girls in Nigeria and across the world. The conference was also a fantastic opportunity to connect and engage in conversations with peers and experts about HPV and HPV-related disease prevention and treatments globally. Many of these discussions I believe are relevant to our local context in Nigeria. Edinburgh is a truly delightful and beautiful city—I definitely hope to visit soon, perhaps when it’s a bit warmer! #IPVC2024 #HPVVaccine #Nigeria #HAPPI
