Diffusion models have dominated generative modeling applications like text-to-image (T2I), text-to-speech (T2S), image editing and density and distance estimation. But they’re also increasingly being used for temporal/sequential applications like fluid mechanics, weather and climate modeling, and video. Using traditional diffusion methods on time sequence data, however, has several disadvantages. 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 As part of the Chair of #IndividualizedProduction's project to develop an AI network for material management on construction sites, my thesis presents a system architecture optimized for efficiency and minimal computing demands. Designed for dynamic and complex environments, the system combines neural networks with depth information and filtering logic to ensure reliability. It integrates seamlessly on mobile platforms without interrupting other tasks performed by the robot. I prepared this animation for my thesis dissertation. Enjoy the video overview! We're excited to announce our participation in the Alan Turing PhD Connect 2024, the premier conference for doctoral researchers in data science and AI. At this year's event, we're presenting our innovative work on applying hyperspectral imaging (HSI) and AI to revolutionise concrete production monitoring. Our research addresses a critical environmental challenge: the concrete industry's significant contribution to global CO2 emissions. By leveraging advanced HSI technology combined with machine learning, we're developing solutions to improve concrete production efficiency and reduce waste. Our focus is on overcoming key technical challenges, including variable lighting conditions and environmental factors that can affect measurement accuracy. The project aligns perfectly with both sustainability goals and industrial innovation. Our team is working on sophisticated algorithms to process hyperspectral data, enabling real-time quality control while accounting for environmental variables. This technology has the potential to significantly reduce waste and energy consumption in concrete production.
