International days often seem like a way to encourage artificiality and superficiality, with people showing off their fake support by participating in the event that the day is supposed to represent. What exactly is an international "foo/bar" day supposed to achieve? Is it about bringing awareness? Awareness to what? Is something so periodic in nature that it only deserves attention at a particular time of the year, prompting everyone to show that they are "aware" and participating? If anything, this one-time nature of celebration makes something meaningful meaningless by giving participants a temporary sense of achievement. Take International Yoga Day, for example. Every other company is posting pictures of their employees in strange poses they think constitute yoga. What is the message here? That they understand what yoga is? That the employees will become fit for life after a photo is taken? That all stress in the company will vanish? Come on! Pictures are taken and posted, five minutes of bizarre poses are practiced, and humanity just achieved the goal of yoga. Great! Mission accomplished for a year, until the next one. #InternationalDays #Awareness #Superficiality #MeaningfulChange #CorporateCulture #YogaDay #Authenticity

Today, as we celebrate Yoga Day, I find myself reflecting on the similarities between #yoga and #recruitment. Imagine recruitment as a yoga practice. #Flexibility is essential—adapting to sudden changes in job requirements or a candidate’s need for work-life balance. Just as in yoga, where we balance our poses, recruitment requires #balancing employer needs with candidate aspirations to create successful matches. #Mindfulness in yoga means being present and attentive. In recruitment, it’s about paying close attention to details in resumes and interviews, ensuring we understand both the candidate’s potential and the employer’s needs. Yoga teaches us that progress comes with continuous practice. In recruitment, #continuousimprovement by refining strategies and staying updated with industry trends is key to success. Let's keep integrating these principles into our recruitment practices for harmonious and fulfilling journey. Happy International Yoga Day! 🧘♀️ #YogaDay #Recruitment #Balance #Flexibility #Mindfulness #ContinuousImprovement

In the practice of yoga, there's a deep emphasis on achieving balance between the mind and body. This translates perfectly to the realm of legal cases. Just like a yoga pose requires both physical strength and mental focus to find stability, we help you cultivate financial stability alongside peace of mind during your legal journey. Here's how it works: ✔Legal battles can be stressful and financially draining. We work to minimize that stress by providing clear communication, strategic planning, and efficient representation. This allows you to focus on your well-being and other aspects of your life. ✔Financial security is a major concern during legal issues. We strive to be transparent about costs and work with you to find solutions that fit your budget. By mirroring yoga's mind-body balance, we aim to empower you to navigate your legal case with both financial stability and peace of mind. #MUFTKAGYANSERIES 2 - Real Stories, Zero B.S., Joke in the end 😃 In an advanced yoga practitioner class, I found myself next to a batchmate effortlessly acing a challenging pose with grace. Feeling a tinge of competitiveness, I strained to match her flexibility. I pushed and pushed, but instead of finding zen, I lost my balance (more like 'bye'-lance) I decided to take a break and left for home. In the quiet of my journey, I reflected on why I had joined this class—to center myself and escape external (read social media) distractions. Yet, EVEN here, I had allowed myself to be drawn into comparison. The senses had been pulled outward again, instead of inward. By the end of my practice, I realized I was probably flexing for the 'gram. What I really needed was to flex my inner peace, which would help me at work, at home and in the Yogaclass. I'm now back on track. With every twist less about the perfect pose and more about not tipping over when life tries to push me down! AttemptedJoke😃: Why does everyone love colleagues who practice yoga? Because they bend over backwards to meet deadlines! PS: Since people have liked it across social media, I'm pasting the first MuftKaGyan in comments. :) #YogaJourney #InnerPeace #MindfulnessPractice #YogaInspiration #BalanceStruggles #FlexibilityGoals #SelfReflection #SocialMediaDetox #ZenMindset

We totally lucked out with the weather yesterday! Despite the forecast predicting rain, the sun was shining throughout our beach Laughter Yoga session in Nairn. It was a joy to lead this fun and uplifting session for a fantastic team on their away day. Initially, we thought we might have to find shelter, but instead, we were blessed with beautiful sunshine. We wrapped up the session with a guided meditation, seated in a circle of camping chairs, making for a truly memorable experience. Couples yoga is a practice where two individuals, typically partners or friends, participate in yoga together. It involves synchronized movements, coordinated breathing, and shared poses that require mutual support and communication. The focus is on building a deeper connection between partners through physical and emotional engagement. While it promotes intimacy and trust, it's important to note that couples yoga isn't inherently sexual; instead, it emphasizes collaboration, mindfulness, and the shared experience of practicing yoga together. The practice aims to strengthen both the physical and emotional aspects of the relationship. At Ayurooms, we offer a safe space for couples to learn and practice yoga together. Studies have shown that when couples practice yoga together regularly, the benefits typically include: 1. Increased relationship satisfaction 2. Improved intimacy and sex life 3. Increased communication and trust 4. Reduced anxiety and stress If couples yoga is something that interests you, get in touch with Ayurooms and we will curate a wellness vacation that includes private yoga for you and your partner. Yoga has been an integral part of both my personal and professional lives. It has not only helped me maintain my physical and mental well-being, but it has also been a source of inspiration in my entrepreneurial journey. Despite how busy my days are, I always make time to practise yoga. ➡️It makes me feel centered and helps me find clarity even when I am making important business decisions. ➡️It has improved my decision-making skills, which have helped me in both my personal and professional lives. ➡️It has given me a sense of calm and inner peace, allowing me to leave work-related stress behind and prioritize my personal life. We should always make time to include such practices in our daily routine to live a much better and more fulfilling life. So today, on International Yoga Day, I encourage everyone to explore the transformative power of yoga and make it a part of your daily practice. As they say, your health is your greatest wealth. You should make time for things that are going to improve the overall well-being of your life. #HappyInternationalYogaDay
