An in depth look into “CICP Promotion Seminar and SHENG Israel Jiangsu Innovation Hub Launching”, event held in Tel Aviv, Israel. Where we gathered our valued partners from both China and Israel, revealed our newest policies, signed with new companies and had an incredible chance to hear from Israeli companies who already established their business in CICP. 🇮🇱🇨🇳Event Highlights: Liu Song, Charge d’Affaires at the Chinese Embassy in Israel, emphasized the robust complementary advantages in innovation shared by China and Israel. He noted that China stands as Israel’s largest trading partner in Asia and second-largest worldwide. Zhou Liping, Deputy Director of the CICP’s Administrative Committee, shared insights into the Park’s achievements. Since its establishment, the CICP has attracted 238 Israeli-owned or joint venture firms and facilitated 58 technology cooperation projects. 💡Panel Discussion: Our panel featured esteemed representatives from companies already thriving in the park, hosted by our associate from SHENG Israel-Jiangsu Innovation Hub Mr. Ilan Maor 马奕良 introducing Mr. Danny Shikh (K&S Advanced Systems), Mr. Lior Ben-Dror (PureBlue), Mr. Oren Bar-on (Foresight Automotive) , Mr. Tal Bakish (VocalZoom). Let’s talk about the project CREACTIVE that brings together a unique platform of partners from the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) sector and other key industrial ecosystems. This initiative aims to accelerate the adoption of processes and technologies for a greener and more digital economy. 🌿💻   The consortium, consisting of three innovative partners, offers complementary innovation and digital services, bolstered by an official external service provider selected by Friend CCI. Together, they cover the entire spectrum of SMEs’ twin transition needs, ensuring they are well-equipped for the future. 🤝🌐 🔗 What does CREACTIVE aim to achieve? Connect: Linking EU Cultural and Creative Industries SMEs with deep tech innovative companies and key sectors like digital, electronics, health, aerospace, and defence. Transform: Facilitating the adoption of digital solutions and innovative components in business models, accelerating the digital transition. Internationalize: Providing SMEs with market access and opportunities in Asia through internationalization and specialized training services. The project takes a cross-sectoral approach, enhancing the uptake of digital solutions and driving forward the digital transformation of SMEs in the CCI sector. 📢 Exciting news! The European Commission has allocated a whopping €116 million to support the Regional Innovation Valleys (RIVs) initiative. 💪 The RIVs program is all about strengthening regional innovation ecosystems and bridging the innovation gap in Europe. 🌍 By connecting regions with different levels of innovation, we can create a thriving collaborative network across the continent. Under Horizon Europe, the European Innovation Ecosystems (EIE) program and the Interregional Innovation Investments (I3) Instrument under the European Regional Development Fund will provide the much-needed funding. 🌟 So, what does this mean for you? ✅ The RIVs initiative is part of the New European Innovation Agenda (NEIA), which is all about enhancing innovation cohesion across the EU. This investment will support 72 regions that have already been identified as RIVs. These regions will be tackling challenges such as reducing dependence on fossil fuels, increasing global food security, and improving healthcare. 🏥🌱 ✅ But that's not all! An additional 79 regions have been identified based on their commitment to enhancing innovation investment and policies, engaging in interregional collaboration, and strengthening their regional innovation ecosystems. Today, during the Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU) European Conference in #Brussels, significant findings from the evaluation of the #H2020 R&I EU programme, previously released in January, were emphasized by Massimiliano Esposito, Head of Unit at Directorate-General Research and Innovation - European Commission. I would like to highlight two of them:   "Each euro in costs linked to the H2020 programme will ultimately bring five euros in benefits to EU citizens by 2040"   "20% additional growth in employment and a 30% increase in turnover and total assets for participating firms compared to the ones that were unsuccessful despite high quality applications"   Having spent the past 8 years at Zabala Innovation Europe, I've been lucky to directly witness how this latter outcome becomes a reality for our most engaged clients and partners.   Since the initiation of the 1st #FrameworkProgramme, Zabala Innovation has actively participated and supported organisations in their participation in EU-funded R&I programmes, fostering their innovation strategies and sustaining their competitiveness in such a challenging and dynamic environment.   With a success rate of 40%, we are the best partner to support your participation into R&I EU funded programmes.
