This is a good news story! I have cervical pain and disk degeneration from years of jet flying, with all the G forces, NVG hours, catapult shots, and carrier arrestments. I got a referral for Physical Therapy that focused on intense stretching. It hurt and it didn’t help. Then I switched to stability and strength training: keeping my neck still against resistance like in this video of F1 driver Lando Norris (race drivers and jet crews both put heavy loads on their necks). I’m older and my neck is more damaged than Lando’s, so I’m starting with mild bands, but IT’S WORKING!
