“Speaking” is valuable, but many times “not speaking” is even more valuable The softest thing in the world can subdue the strongest thing on earth The harder it is, the easier it is to break, the softer it is, the more it can adapt to all things Things with appearance will eventually decay, but things without appearance will last for a long time People often value “having”, but how many people value “having nothing”? Just like we know that “speaking” is valuable, but many times “not speaking” is even more valuable. It depends on whether we can access it or not When we learn more about people, we will know that .. Not everyone is “suitable” for us Not everyone is “worthy” of being in our lives Not everyone is “good” as we see And not everyone is “becoming” as we think Don’t use “emotion” to judge people, but use “time” to learn about each other No one gains or loses anything forever, because no one or anything lasts forever without being lost We just need to know the balance Learn to live with what we have, be happy. Don't try to seek happiness in something that has not yet arrived. Live in the present, live in our hearts... that are peaceful. People who look at the world in a positive way, it is not that they do not have any worries. It is just that they see suffering with understanding and can live with it without reducing the happiness in their hearts. Yanisa C.

Things you will regret: 1) Allowing your potential to remain trapped behind strangers' opinions. 2) Spending more time thinking about the past than living in the moment. 3) Time spent with people that don't want the best for you. 4) Neglecting family. 5) Never taking risks. You are not what happened to you, you are how you chose to handle it Live in accordance with your outside world and you'll soon find misery. Live in accordance with your inside world and you'll soon find happiness. 🌟 **Reflecting on the Transience of Life** 🌟 In our fast-paced world, it's vital to remember that almost everything around us is temporary. Whether it's the challenges at work, the joys of a new project, or even the setbacks we encounter, they all pass with time. Embracing this perspective can transform our approach to life and work. It encourages us to live more fully, appreciate the moment, and not be overly attached to the current state of affairs. It also fosters resilience, as we become more adaptable and prepared for change. Let's discuss: - How has accepting the temporary nature of things helped you in your personal or professional life? - What strategies do you use to stay motivated knowing that "this too shall pass"? Let’s talk minfulness at work! The past few weeks my posts have focused on one of my goals for this year; learning to be less attached to outcomes at work when I know that the amount of effort, love and time that goes into what I do remains constant. Off the back of my posts on getting it wrong and letting go, I’ll be dropping some content on what I’m learning about this week. Letting go of being right (or believing that I’m right). I’m not talking from a place of having seen the industry over years and years, but you are welcome to join me exactly where I am as I learn. I’ll drop a link to the full video as soon as it’s done. It would be great going forwards to get opinions and tips from other recruiters and other industries. #mindfulness #recruitmentindustry #mentalhealth

Another week, another opportunity. As we go through our day-to-day lives, it's important to remember that sometimes situations are out of our control. The best thing we can do is react positively, keep those around us informed, and strive to make it all work. Recently, I received some positive encouragement from staying positive while dealing with a situation outside of my own control. It reminded me that a positive attitude can go a long way in difficult situations. So, next time something goes wrong, remember to stay positive and keep those around you in the loop. We can't control everything that happens to us, but we can control how we react to it. Let's make the most of every opportunity that comes our way. #positivity #mindfulness #opportunity #control

One of my personal goals this year is to be more present, to take in all of the experiences, accomplishments, and even challenges. To live in the moment. As I go into Passover tonight, I am reminded of one of my favorite quotes by my coaching teacher, Jay Shetty: "To have deep memories, you have to be deeply present." Here are some ways that I stay present: 1) Mindfulness Meditation Even if it is just a few minutes a day, taking time to stop and breathe. I started setting my alarm for 10 minutes earlier, so I have time to meditate. 2) Gratitude Reflecting on what I'm grateful for each day. I like to run through my gratitude list while I am brushing my teeth - this way, I won't miss the practice. 🙂 3) Active Listening Intentionally listening to the people around me, without distraction. To give them my full attention, at that moment. The key to getting better at active listening is maintaining eye contact. 4) Engaging my Senses If I find myself drifting from the moment, I tune into my senses - what I see, hear, smell, taste, and touch. This helps ground me. Examples are: seeing my nephew playing with his superhero toys, hearing the sound of my dad reciting the prayers, and tasting my mom's delicious traditional Persian meal. What are some ways you like to stay in the present? "Happy the man, and happy he alone, he who can call today his own: he who, secure within, can say, Tomorrow do thy worst, for I have lived today. Be fair or foul, or rain or shine the joys I have possessed, in spite of fate, are mine. Not Heaven itself, upon the past has power, but what has been, has been, and I have had my hour." - Horace As we navigate our careers, perhaps we can take a moment each day to ask ourselves: "Have I truly lived today? Have I made it my own?" I'm curious to hear your thoughts. How do you balance future ambitions with present contentment in your professional life? What strategies do you use to "own" each day? #ProfessionalDevelopment #Mindfulness #WorkLifeBalance #AncientWisdom #CareerReflections

Do you sometimes feel purpose anxiety? 😬 I know, I did. But no more. Elizabeth Gilbert, author of “Eat Pray Love” has opened my eyes 😍 Elizabeth emphasizes that we should relax more. The universe would love for us to be more relaxed 🐢 In martial arts, the most relaxed person in the room is the one with the most power. Taking that to the workplace, being relaxed enables you to see what the stressful people in the room cannot 🚦 Also, the opposite of purpose is not purposelessness. It is presence, says Elizabeth 🙏 It is ok not to be passionate all the time. Perhaps you have already “done the job” that you are here to do. Now you can focus on being present and enjoy your everyday life 🤸♀️ If you really want to get to know your passion, Elizabeth suggests turning your attention away from passion and towards curiosity 🌱 Perhaps you are just a little interested in something. Check it out. Any motion beats inertia because inspiration will always be drawn to motion 💡 Research does show that finding the purpose in work leads to higher job satisfaction, and strengthening relationships with colleagues is vital to creating meaning 💚 Maybe try to be curious about your colleagues? #Worklife #Inspiration #BigMagic

Hey there! As we find ourselves nestled in the heart of the week, it's the perfect moment to pause, breathe, and engage in a little soulful contemplation. Today, I'd love to share a quote that holds a special place in my heart, one that never fails to stir my thoughts and spark introspection: "You will never feel truly satisfied by work until you are satisfied by life." – Heather Schuck Isn't that quote simply profound? It serves as a gentle yet powerful reminder that our journey toward fulfillment and success isn't solely defined by our professional endeavors. No, my dear friends, true satisfaction is found in the delicate dance between our work and our personal joys, in the harmonious intertwining of professional achievements and personal fulfillment. Now, here's where your wisdom comes into play! How do you ensure that your pursuit of success enriches rather than depletes your personal happiness? Do you carve out sacred moments for self-care amidst the hustle and bustle? Perhaps you prioritize quality time with loved ones, nurturing those precious connections that light up your soul. Or maybe you've discovered the art of mindfulness, finding peace and serenity in the present moment. Whatever your approach may be, I invite you to take a moment today to delve into your heart, to explore the intricacies of your own journey toward fulfillment. Share your insights, your reflections, your musings in the comments below, and let's create a tapestry of shared wisdom and inspiration. Together, we'll inspire each other to cultivate that enriching balance, that exquisite harmony between work and life.
