Another big step in implementing our growth strategy for the American market.
We've got big news: we are expanding our operations here in the US and planning to acquire parts of ABB's surge protection business in the USA. The corresponding contracts were signed yesterday. The acquisition includes the brand Current Technology as well as the low-voltage Joslyn products. Both brands are long-established and highly respected in the American market. In combination with our existing portfolio, we will be creating a unique and expansive range of services in the areas of power quality, grounding, lightning protection and surge protection. In the future, this will enable us to address the requirements of our customers in the USA with targeted and customized solutions. As the world's largest economy, the USA plays a central role in DEHN’s corporate strategy. We plan to grow substantially in the coming years, for example, taking advantage of the opportunities presented by the massive expansion of renewable energies, electric mobility and increasing digitalization. DEHN, Inc. is the driving force behind the development of DEHN’s business in the USA. In spring 2024, we moved into our new headquarters in Mooresville, North Carolina where we will also be setting up our own production facilities for the American market in the months to come. More information on the acquisition can be found in our press release: https://buff.ly/4c1vApd
