Garment merchandisers can face a number of challenges, including: Pressure from buyers and bosses: Buyers may have unrealistic demands or pressure to meet deadlines. Unit bosses may also constantly chase deadlines and targets. Pressure from production: Production requires regular checks, updates, and solutions from merchandisers. Time management: Merchandisers need to meet customer deadlines, manage people, and coordinate with production. They need to be able to process multiple orders of multiple styles within a short time frame. Material approval: Merchandisers may not have time to check every material before submitting it to the customer. This can lead to delays and missed delivery dates. #merchandiser #garments #textile #kamrultex

The Critical Role of Merchandising in Production & Supplier Follow-Up 🌟 As an Assistant Merchandiser at Southern Knitwear Ltd, I've experienced firsthand the importance of merchandising in maintaining efficient manufacturing processes and prompt supplier follow-ups. Merchandisers connect the buyer and the factory floor, ensuring that all details are correctly aligned for flawless execution. 👉 Production Follow-Up: Keeping track of production schedules is critical to avoiding delays. Consistent control guarantees we satisfy our buyers' expectations by managing raw material availability and checking output quality. For example, while working on orders for Mayoral, Zara Women's, and Primark, we ensure that every stage of the production process is completed on time, from yarn purchasing to final packing. 👉 Supplier Coordination: Working closely with suppliers ensures that materials are delivered on time and without compromising quality. Whether it's yarn for Mayoral Boy's designs or special trimmings for Zara Women's collections, our ties with suppliers are critical to fulfilling deadlines. Supplier delays can cause manufacturing bottlenecks, therefore we consistently follow up to assure prompt and correct delivery. With every follow-up, our goal remains clear: delivering quality products on time and maintaining strong relationships with our buyers and suppliers. The success of our collections relies heavily on our daily efforts and precision. 🔄✨ #Merchandising #FashionIndustry #ProductionManagement #SupplyChain #Mayoral #Zara #Primark #Apparel #AssistantMerchandiser #SouthernKnitwear

HCMC, 07 Apr 2024 Dear Diary, Today is nothing special, and I’m still trying my best to chase the next move in my own career path. It’s been 6 days since my official unemployed accident. Everything is still fine, life goes on. But the only problem comes from my own feelings and self-motivation. Honestly, it’s always much harder to face with the situation than just sit in your own comfortable office and writing about “how to manage your situation.” – you know what I mean, right? Therefore, action speak louder than words. Anyway, I must keep going on, moving forward and spend more energy chasing a proper solution – which can help break out bottleneck on my way, help to re-connect with monthly money flow (a daily job). I’ve read this somewhere before, and this helps me a lot these days. “A winner is just a loser - who tried one more time.” – quoted by George Augustus Moore Yes, maybe all the thing I must remind myself whenever being rejected is “try one more time.” p/s: I’m open to looking for new opportunities as a Senior Merchandiser/ Team leader within garment/ Apparel manufacture industry: _ level: sewing factory & vendor office & buyer/ brand representative office all ok with me. _ Working place: HCMC. _ I’m qualified for both development & production. _ I’m available to onboard soon by 1st of May. _ Expect income from $1,000 net. Mon ~ Fri per week. Thanks & regards, 😊 Kelvin Ying. #unemployed, #36yo, #merchandiser #opportunities, #HCMC, #garment, #apparel, #textile, #vietnam
