It’s holiday party season! 💃🏾 While some might see it as an opportunity for informal networking, we wanted to bring you the inside scoop on landing your next job — one that doesn’t require making small talk. Our guest for the season finale of Still at Work is Elisabetta Bartoloni, a partner at Heidrick & Struggles and co-chairs their Americas Women's Inclusion Network. In this episode, we also cover diversity, equity and inclusion in executive hiring. If you are a mid to senior-level leader from an underrepresented or marginalized group, Elisabetta and our host Kim Taylor discuss why you shouldn’t take yourself out of the game. 🎧 Listen to episode 13 of Still at Work wherever you get your podcasts or click the link here: https://lnkd.in/eyGHnSTx 📲 Subscribe, rate and leave us a review on Apple Podcasts ❓Need advice on navigating the workplace? 🎙 𝑴𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝑯𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒏 - *𝑵𝒆𝒘 𝑬𝒑𝒊𝒔𝒐𝒅𝒆 𝑨𝒍𝒆𝒓𝒕* When the topic of #recruiters comes up, there's a host of mixed reviews. The usual quips are around #jobseekers never getting a response back from recruiters to their emails or LinkedIn messages, and many experience being ghosted during the hiring process. But having previously worked as a #marketer within a global FTSE-listed #recruitment company for six years, I know very well that there's more beneath the surface. And it's time to listen to the other side of the story. There are recruiters, and then there are 𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒅 recruiters who are smart, professional and genuinely driven to help companies meet and hire the best candidates in the market. One such expert recruiter is Devanjali Rishi (Director - #ExecutiveRecruitment at Michael Page) and guest of the latest episode of my #podcast. As Devi's former colleague, both in the Middle East and North America, I've always seen her make things happen for both her clients and candidates. So she became a natural contender to speak to for my podcast, and a lot of ground was covered: ⭕𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝒔𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒂 #𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒓𝒖𝒊𝒕𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒓 ⭕𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒎𝒂𝒅𝒆 𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒏 𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒓𝒖𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒓 ⭕𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒔𝒉𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒑𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒓𝒖𝒊𝒕𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒇𝒊𝒓𝒎𝒔 ⭕𝑴𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒔𝒆𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒏𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒈𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 #𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒍𝒐𝒘 𝒉𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒐𝒅𝒔 ⭕𝑻𝒐𝒑 𝒉𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒔 𝒔𝒉𝒆'𝒔 𝒔𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆 ⭕𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒔𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒄𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒊𝒏 𝒂 𝒔𝒆𝒂 𝒐𝒇 𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 ⭕𝑯𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒅𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒋𝒐𝒃 𝒔𝒆𝒆𝒌𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒎𝒆𝒅 ⭕𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒔𝒉𝒆'𝒔 𝒔𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒓𝒖𝒊𝒕𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒚 𝒆𝒗𝒐𝒍𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 #𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒗𝒆 Watch or listen to this episode here: ⚫ YouTube: https://lnkd.in/dUcrwtbP 🔴 Spotify: https://lnkd.in/d6E9ufnb 🔵 Apple Podcasts: https://lnkd.in/dNDaxTGx #MakingThingsHappen #Careers #Marketing #Podcasting #PodcastInterviews #CareerJourneys

I love a good podcast - as many who know me will attest! So I thought I'd share my top three career/recruitment podcasts.. 💻 Interview Boss I was recommended this one by a candidate, and its a gem! A great one for preparing for interviews and understanding more of the why behind the recruitment process (including the frustrating delays!) https://lnkd.in/gxsp5-6q 👩💼 Future Women: Leadership Series Interviews and stories about the how and why of successful women in leadership. A good reminder that there is no such thing as an "overnight success", but all about patience and perseverance. https://lnkd.in/gkt3UEx9 💡 WorkLife with Adam Grant The master of Organisational Psychology. Thought provoking episodes on how to think differently and develop new ideas around the way of work. https://lnkd.in/gTwDqPid I always love hearing about new podcasts to expand my listening.. what's your favourite?

When we saw that "CareerBee Talks" was streamed for 554 hours this year, my first reaction was: What? How? Why?! 😅 I honestly couldn’t believe it. We launched this podcast with a simple goal: to share recruiting insights and help job seekers navigate their search. As our audience grew, so did our ambition. We started adding interviews with HR experts, expanded into B2B topics, and even focused on helping companies find top talent. This year, we were at a crossroads—wondering whether to continue the podcast, as it takes a lot of time and energy. But after seeing the stats and realizing how much our audience continues to grow, we knew we couldn’t stop now. If you have any topics you'd like us to cover or experts you think we should interview, drop your suggestions in the comments! 👇 We’ll be back with a new episode on January 6th after our winter break—and I can't wait! 🎙️
