As we move past the winter months, Seasonal Affective Disorder becomes less of an issue. But, you may see similar "seasonal" reactions in other months. Consider that those cyclical reactions may be trauma anniversaries. The body remembers those dates, even if the mind does not. If you know there are dates that may be difficult for you, let your supervisor know, so they can be supportive during that time. If you support someone who struggles every year at the same time, consider that those dates may be "traumaversaries" for that person. Empathy goes a long way to support someone during those times. #traumainformed #traumahealing #livedexperience #sts #trauma #traumawise
