🧠 New Insights into Parkinson’s Disease Dementia (PDD) and Dementia with Lewy Bodies (DLB) New study compares brain activity between PDD and DLB patients through advanced EEG analysis. By analyzing spectral and nonlinear dynamics, key differences in the power spectrum and cortical complexity were found: Key Findings: DLB patients showed more diffuse slowing and lower cortical complexity compared to PDD, particularly in central, temporal, and parietal regions. While both groups differed significantly from healthy controls, PDD showed greater power in the theta and alpha bands than DLB.
