Humanitarian Leadership Academy’s Post

With the support from Syrian Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Syria Relief, and Save the Children Syria Response Office, our Middle East & North Africa (MENA) regional team delivered 𝗪𝗔𝗦𝗛 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 training in Gaziantep, #Türkiye.     👩🎓 29 people from Northwest Syria WASH Cluster partner organisations attended this five-day training and gained essential knowledge and skills for integrating WASH programming in emergencies. ❇️ The training focuses on three main areas: linking WASH with health, nutrition, education, and market-based programming; addressing climate change challenges; and conducting Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA). Additionally, participants gain insights into Market-Based Programming (MBP) strategies to develop sustainable, context-appropriate interventions.    🤝 The training will also enable the participants to cascade this knowledge to their field teams, enhancing the quality and impact of WASH interventions.     💻 One month after the training, we will conduct a follow-up online session for participants to discuss challenges they encounter while applying what they've learned and continue to receive support and advice. #WASH #WASHinEmergencies #NorthwestSyria
